John and Jan live in Portland, OR, in the historical Irvington neighborhood. We also have condos in Palm Springs, CA, and Reno, NV. Our 1916 craftsman bungalow in Portland was fully renovated in 2008. The 1979 Palm Springs condo was remodeled top to bottom in spring 2011 and also is available for vacation rental. The Reno condo was purchased and fully renovated in summer 2012.
John is an electrical engineer, and Jan is retired. We enjoy traveling abroad, especially to Europe. When in Portland, we have fun driving our two classic cars, a 1940 Buick Super hot rod and a 1965 Skylark convertible. We look forward to much more traveling when John retires.

All the fun of downtown and all the proximity to the great outdoors! The Truckee River and Wingfield Park bandstand are just across from the condo entry, and we love all the recent changes in downtown Reno. Drive to Lake Tahoe for summer and winter fun, hike and ski in the mountains, enjoy day trips to historic Virginia City, NV, or Sacramento, CA. The Basque food in Gardnerville, NV, is also a treat.

The condo on the river was great, it was clean and tastefully doctorates. I felt at home from the first night and the location was prefect. I stayed during Artown and enjoyed concerts in the park, great restaurants and music around town. Everything was within walking distance. I will recommend the condo to friends and family.
Just as described and pictured. Well located for our needs. Views out and off the top of the condo are just awesome!! You can walk to restaurants and movie theater near by and the park is out the front door. We spent time in Susanville and Carson City, shopped and played tourist. When we arrived, we were walked thru the condo and showed around, I thought this was a nice touch! We really enjoyed our stay and had a great time. Thank you for making that happen!

This unit was exactly as described. The unit was clean and well stocked. Thelma answered our questions and explained how everything in the unit worked. The river view was very relaxing. We will rent this unit again on our next visit to Reno.
I stayed in the apartment in January 2016 while taking a 2 week course at the university. It was comfortable and warm, as well as conveniently located. It was within walking distance to the campus, had an organic grocery store right around the corner, and had a nice, but small, kitchen.
I stayed at this condo while attending a conference in Reno and it had all of the necessary amenities - it made my time in Reno very pleasant. The convenient location along with the comfortable furnishings certainly trumped the conference hotel accommodations. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Reno.
Actually, I'm sure this property is great for a short term stay as well. But, for our purposes, it was a long term stay. Short walk from all that is "Downtown Reno", this property is well-maintained and very secure. Parking is available for a slightly additional cost and worth it if you're there for a long visit. There was usually parking available around the property as well. But, the private parking is also gated which just adds to peace of mind and a place to park any time. The owners were very communicative and helpful. The property was well maintained and comfortable. Like I said, we used it for a long term stay as we were re-locating to the area and needed a convenient place to call "home" for a while. But, even for a short weekend stay, this would be an ideal location. One thing I was surprised that no one used was the upstairs balcony. It was available to everyone in the building, but we were the only ones up there whenever we visited it. The views were incredible!! I'd highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Reno.
We returned to this lovely getaway - very nice 1 BR 1 1/2 BA with sofabed, patio, and grill! Very enjoyable stay once more....
