Great location! Close to the subway and bus system. And Central Park is just a block away.
Apartment was decent size with comfy bed. And in a hot summer the AC was perfect.
Would definitely recommend!
This excellent property is not suitable for persons who are relatively immobile. Walking up two floors is the problem. Otherwise, this is a fine facility, clean, well managed, with a responsive owner/manager. It is conveniently located. A walk to Central Park is only 5 minutes. A subway station is 10 minutes away, We learned to use The Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue bus systems too. The variety of nearby restaurants is terrific.
We rented this apartment for a family vacation to the city. It's in a great location...super close to Central Park and the subway. On the first floor is a pharmacy and convenience store which was perfect for things we needed for the kids. The neighborhood is fantastic! We were never uncomfortable coming "home" after dark. The apartment is clean and quiet. The futons in the living room are very hard....but ok for younger kids. Nice hot shower and lots of closet space. With subway, bus or taxi it was extremely easy for us to get to all the tourist spots.....Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Natural Museum of History, MoMA, One World Observatory, Chinatown and more!! It was one of our family's best vacations!! Thank you!
This apartment was exactly as advertised, and exactly what I wanted. I stayed for a total of two months while I was working in the city. I loved the location, because it allowed me to get away from the craziness of Midtown and be in a real neighborhood - but still be surrounded by good food and plenty of amenities. My commute to Times Square only took 20-30 minutes (including the five-minute walk to the 6), depending on the trains.
The apartment itself was very clean. The twin beds in the bedroom are a bit uncomfortable, but the futons are quite cozy. Plenty of storage space, even with two months' worth of clothes and supplies. The kitchen is well-stocked; I had no problem cooking for myself. The building is relatively quiet, and there's almost no street noise. Internet service is a bit spotty, but cell service is good. The manager was very responsive any time I had a question or a problem.
If you want a "real" NYC stay, whether for a weekend or a week or a few months, I would absolutely recommend this place.
