Stay here whenever possible. Love it every time. It feels like home.
We loved everything about the house and the location was perfect! Quiet street with onsite parking and walking distance to Magazine Street. Would definitely recommend!
Very nice home. Loved the decor Definitely recommend. Stayed there with my children and significant others. Very comfortable for the 5 of us. Nice area of town, quick uber ride to French quarter .
Liz has a beautiful home in Uptown that is within walking distance to Magazine St. and Audubon Park, and close to Tulane, as well. The house is wonderful inside, and is in a quiet neighborhood. Liz's house is very well appointed and it was a pleasure to stay there.
This is the second time we've rented this property, and there's no going back! The location is amazing for our needs -- the neighborhood is gorgeous and totally safe. We regularly sent our kids (15 & 12) to Magazine for morning pastries and coffee. Walking distance to the park for a morning run, to the streetcar for a slow ride downtown or to the Magazine bus for a faster route. Most importantly, though, the owner is a gem. When we arrived the upstairs AC wasn't working, and she had someone there by the time we returned from dinner. She texted more than once to make sure all was well and let us linger on our last day since we had an evening flight and didn't have a place for our bags. Don't miss this opportunity to get a true New Orleans/Uptown experience.
We stayed for 10 days for Jazzfest and we thoroughly enjoyed the house and the location. The house is as tasteful and well maintained as the photos suggest, and was perfect for two adult couples and one of our adult children. Liz was very nice and extremely responsive. I would urge guests to rely on her dining and entertainment recommendations. The location just off Magazine and very close to Audubon Park was another real plus. I would not hesitate to rent it again and give it my highest recommendation.
Fantastic uptown location 4 short blocks to Audubon Park. Right off Magazine St. and State St. Around the corner from Whole Foods, many cafes, coffee shops, boutiques and great local New Orleans restaurants. Within walking distance to Tulane and Loyola Universities.
