Beautiful location but super busy. Noisy, cramped unit.

  • 2 of 5

Noisy upstairs tenants made it unpleasant to hang out in our rental unit. We could hear every footstep, and the small space left nowhere to retreat to.

The location is beautiful, but there was so much traffic it was difficult to cross the road to get to the beach.

Exactly What We Needed!

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed here for 6 nights, and we couldn't have been happier! It is in a great location...with Turtle Bay and the Polynesian Cultural Center in one direction, and Waimea Valley, Haleiwa, and the Pineapple Plantation in the other. It is right across the road from a perfect snorkeling location and awesome tide pools, as well as right next to Foodland, a coffee shop, and many great food truck options within walking distance. That's not to mention the MANY wonderful beaches to stop at all along the North Shore. It was wonderful to have bikes to use, beach toys, towels, Styrofoam coolers, and snorkeling gear if you need it (we had brought our own). It was also great to have a shower outside to limit the amount of sand tracked in, and also the washer and dryer were nice to have so we didn't have to pack quite as many clothes. We didn't do a whole lot of cooking, more basic breakfast and sandwiches, and ate dinner out...but the kitchen was well stocked so you could cook meals if you wanted. It is super quaint, but is as nice and clean as the pictures show. I would recommend this place to friends and family, and would love to come back again! We are the type of family that uses a rental as a "base", but really don't spend a lot of time there, as we are out exploring instead, and again this was the perfect location to do that! The owners were also very accommodating, and responded promptly as we were trying to book it! If you are looking for a great location to stay on the North Shore this is your place! Thanks for sharing your piece of heaven with our family for the week!!

This place was absolutely perfect!!!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here for a week while I came out to see my boyfriend, and this was exactly what I was wanting. It was right across from a beautiful beach, and not even a 5 minute walk from another beautiful beach. The views were absolutely incredible. I loved being able to come back to the house instead of having to go to a hotel. It had everything I needed and I would absolutely stay here again. Michelle was fantastic to work with and any questions I have she was very quick to respond to my emails.

Thank you so much!!! I hope to be back some day soon!!!!

Roach Infestation

  • 1 of 5

The bathroom had a huge roach Infestation and one fell on me as I was washing my hair. It was completely disgusting. I would not recommend staying here unless they actually get an exterminator instead of just stating there is one. The can of Raid was empty when I got there, what does that tell you? I had to drip the last bit of the can onto running roaches and squish the others. And no, I never left food out, in the kitchen or the bathroom. So gross, stay elsewhere.

This place is perfect! You can't get any closer to all that you would need in North shore

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I were so happy with our stay. Michelle was very helpful and responded quickly. This location is beyond perfect. You can walk or ride a bike to all the close beaches, Foodland, food trucks, and especially sharks cove. The kitchen is well equipped, we loved the layout of the whole place. I will absolutely recommend staying here to anyone going to the North shore. Every sunset was breathtaking, make sure to get a few photos while you're there, it's incredibly beautiful. We hope to come back soon. If you prefer a more authentic beach bungalow experience stay here. You don't get the same experience staying in a big hotel.

Great Location in the North Shore

  • 5 of 5

Great location for bikers and walkers. Food trucks and food land within walking distance. Beautiful views with a short walk to the end of the driveway. Good price for a clean place to stay. Not so well equipped if you plan on cooking meals. We would stay here again.
