Situated in a quiet neighborhood, there is a large front porch to sit on, as well as 2 private decks facing a large wooded area. The home is completely remodeled with updated appliances, central air, cable, internet access, first floor laundry and ample off street parking. The 5 bedrooms will comfortably sleep 11 with plenty of space and privacy. The spacious bathrooms upstairs have double basins to help move your mornings along. The first floor is an open floor plan connected to the kitchen for meals together, with lots of space to hang out.
We stayed here for three nights with a group of 10, our three grown kids and spouses/significant other, and two young grand daughters. No regrets! 5 bedrooms was just right, with one of the bedrooms with the young grand daughters on the main floor so others could sleep in upstairs. Clean, spacious, three full bathrooms, good size kitchen and eating area, great location just 5-10 min from downtown Cincinnati. Grocery stores, restaurants within 5 minutes. One of the showers had a slow drain and Jon was quick to get it fixed for us. Jon was very easy to work with, and we had a great time. We would definitely stay here again. The carpet to the upstairs on the steps is getting a bit tired, but hey, that's about all I can suggest to Jon that he might want to think about updating over the next year or so. Great place! Would highly recommend to anyone with a large group staying in the Cincinnati area.
Our family group included six adults and five children. The house was clean and had ample room for everyone. Jon was easy to work with and made sure we had everything we needed for a great vacation. The best thing about this house is location. A quiet neighborhood only ten minutes to all the fun things to do in Newport and downtown Cincinnati. Groceries and restaurants are minutes away. A 3-minute walk to the Southgate Community Center and park where there is a baseball field, volleyball court, playground equipment, walking trails and a small fishing lake. We had a wonderful time with our children and grandchildren. Thank you, Jon.
Our family was in town for a daughter, granddaughter and sisters graduation from her residency program. Jon's home was a wonderful place for us to relax and enjoy our time as a family. We needed a pack and play for an infant and Jon went out of his way to borrow one from a friend which was much appreciated. The home was perfect for the four generations that we had staying there. Nice to have the room and bathroom on the ground floor. Our great grandson loved the front hallway because he could look out of the front door all by himself. It is very close to downtown Cincinnati and plenty of shopping for groceries and all of our needs within minutes. Graters is a must for ice cream and is less than 5 minutes away. Thanks again, Jon, for making our stay in Ohio/Kentucky so great!
The home was everything we expected and more. We needed a place to stay for four couples and four kids and it worked out perfectly. The three baths and five bedrooms greatly expedited things. We were in town for a wedding at the Zoo and this location was very convenient as advertised. When we were unable to get the TVs working, the owner sent his son right over who got all to work. We would highly recommend this location to anyone visiting the Cincinnati area.
There were 9 of us who vacationed in the area for the Flying Pig. We had a great time. Jon was very attentive and helpful. He answered questions and responded in a timely manner. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. I highly recommend!
We were here for our family Christmas. There were 12 of us and there was plenty of room for us all. It was very cold , so we could not be outside much. A very nice place for a bigger family gathering!
2 local parks within walking distance and a public pool just 2 miles away make this is a great place for families. Easy access to bus lines open up great restaurants, shopping and sightseeing even without a car. The Hofbrauhaus in Newport was the first US franchise of this German landmark of beer and food. Situated between the Reds & Bengals stadiums, the newly opened Moerlein Lager House on Cincinnati's riverfront has outstanding food and local brews.
