Lots of amenities

  • 4 of 5

We had three families sharing this handsome mountain retreat for our annual family reunion. The layout of the house provided plenty of privacy for each family during our week long stay. We ate all our meals at home and the kitchen and dining room had everything we needed in addition to the lovely views of the lake. The Cedar Glen market is an easy walk from the house in case you need anything extra. The dock is stocked with lots of water toys and provided a good launching pad for our own paddle boards. We look forward to renting this home again next year.

A Little Piece of Heaven

  • 5 of 5

Where else can you do it all but here in Emerald Bay at this beautiful home that offers so much to do and keeps you busy having so much fun in such a heavenly setting! This was our second stay here and we had such a great time. Although it was colder than we expected it to be for this time of year, we still got to fish, kayak, and take long walks on the trails along the lake's edge. Each night we had roaring fires using wood left for us to use with a glass of great wine which was also left for us by the gracious owner Louis. It's always a pleasure to stay here and we will definitely be back! Thank you Louis for another memorable vacation spent at your hidden piece of heaven in Emerald Bay! :)

Exceeded our expectations!

  • 5 of 5

I highly recommend this charming and comfortable home on Lake Arrowhead conveniently located just a short distance from the village at the end of the street overlooking the lake. It is everything it says it is and more. The accommodations are perfect for adult couples looking for privacy as well as teenagers and singles who will love the separate bunk house. Each bedroom (4) has it's own bath and lovely views of the lake. There is even a separate "apartment" downstairs with it's own living room, kitchen, bedroom, bath, fireplace and private deck. Everything was clean, in great condition and many basic supplies were on hand. The living and dining rooms accommodated the 10 of us comfortably from meal time to game time around the fireplace with views, views, views! It offers easy access to the dock where there are kayaks available for use and a patio table for dockside dining as well as a great location along the Arrowhead Lake Association (ALA) trail that runs along the lake for beautiful walks and trail runs. The delightful host, Louis, communicated quickly, easily, accurately and even left a bottle of wine to welcome us. It was picture perfect!

Very nice cabin with spacious set up .

  • 5 of 5

This is a nice cabin for a family get together. It's nice and cozy but big enough and spread out enough to get away if you need to be alone. We had eight adults and we found that there was plenty of room. I think that we could invite a few more people. We didn't even use the converted garage which sleeps 4 addional people. It's like a little unattached cabin that would be great for teenagers.

I don't think you could get a better view of the lake than you can from this cabin. There are big windows in the main living room and the kitchen with views galore. There are plenty of trees, but they don't obscure the view of the lake from this cabin.

We went in May and did end up going in the lake, but it was really cold. We really enjoyed the ALA trail that is just below the cabin. It's a nice trail to get your daily exercise with great view of the lake, houses and cabins in both directions.

My family really enjoyed themselves and we would all love to come back to this beautiful cabin again someday.

Great Value

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I rented this cabin for a long weekend in September. I looked all over for a lake front house that accepted dogs but would not break the bank.

We were very pleased to say the least. Very large kitchen with everything you would need (they even have a coffee grinder). The fact that you can walk

down the steps and be at the water was wonderful. I like to walk with our dog so it was great to be right on the trail. Would definitely rent this house again.

Oh and the owner was super to deal with and we got our deposit back within a week or two.
