The house was very clean and well stocked. The garage game room was a great added feature.
Had a great time and the location was perfect!
We thought the place was very clean.
We loved the place and are already looking forward to next summer. This was our fifth straight year staying at this location. There were plenty of items for the beach.
Perfect amount of space for our family of 7 (adults)
Very clean and accommodating home away from home. Comfortable beds, as well as living room area and spacious bathroom and much needed half bath and outdoor shower! Nice size back yard with a great game room in the garage! 5 minute walk to Sundae School and 10 min walk to Sea St beach. We rented towels and bed sheets which was well worth it! (Less to pack!) Margie was very prompt in getting back to us for any questions we had during the week. Great vacation!! We'd love to stay here again in the future!
Comfortable and convenient
We enjoyed 27 Spruce Way very muck. The house is clean, very roomy, and comfortable. It's a great location close to nice beaches and amenities.
Nice house, great location
Very nice house, great mid cape location. Kitchen had all the supplies we needed. The kaoreoke machine in the garage-turned-playroom was a big hit. We couldn't get the DVD player in the living room to work (even after asking the realitor about it); there was one in a bedroom though, so it was fine.
The property was very clean and had all the items we needed (i.e. beach items, towels, plates, etc.)
This was the 4th straight year that we have stayed at this particular location. We found the house to be very clean and had all beach and house items that you would need. Only needed to replace what we used up. There is an unbelievable amount of space and each of the kids have their own bedroom. The extra half bathroom comes in handy as well. The house is within 15 minutes walking distance to the beach and that makes it close enough to come back to the house for lunch. We are already looking forward to next August.
Thanks so much for your review! We love having you as guests and look forward to having you back next year!
Dennis, named an All American Town in 1978, combines its traditional New England heritage with modern day conveniences. The villages of East Dennis, Dennis and South Dennis feature scenic historic districts hailing back to whaling days. Dennisport has beautiful beaches that lie along Nantucket Sound. West Dennis combines both Nantucket Sound beaches with shore access to Bass River. Altogether, Dennis has sixteen beaches on the warm Nantucket Sound to the south and on the refreshing waters of Cape Cod Bay to the north. Numerous recreation trails offer healthful relaxation, and well developed business districts throughout the villages provide ample goods and services. Residents of Dennis feel a sense of pride in their home by the sea. The quiet little town, incorporated in 1793, was named for Josiah Dennis, a favorite minister. The town was involved in the maritime activities of the 1800's including whaling and the building of some of the greatest American clipper ships like the Flying Cloud. As the twentieth century approached and the glory days of sea captains faded, Dennis residents turned to commercial fishing and land-based industries. Dennis comes into its own during the summer months, with special events every week. Home to the nation's oldest summer theater, the Cape Playhouse, Dennis offers varied summer activities, with arts and craft shows, concerts on the village green and Dennis Festival Days, held in August, which celebrate the friendly heritage of this All American New England town. The beach areas are more densely settled than towns further out on the Cape, and there is a large stock of beach cottages built in the 40s and 50s. In addition, Dennis offers a wide selection of other types of dwellings. Lot sizes are generally smaller than towns further out on the Cape, and taxes are relatively low.
