It has the absolute best view and is located in the most luxurious neighborhood in Manuel Antonio!! The house is clean, elegant and very comfortable. We have direct access to the nicest beach too! It's all about LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
Stunning views throughout. Separate hang out sreas for large groups. Amazing suspended jungle jacuzzi overlooking the view of the National Park. Awesome pool!!! Monkeys visit daily!! Sloth come too!! Fantastic birdwatching. Our favorite beach is a wuick walk doen the hill. Lots of yummy restaurants within walking distance as well. Nestled in the lush hills of the nicest part of Manuel Antonio. This house is a dream come true! Let us share it with you!!!!
I didn't think this would be the case, but the pictures actually do not do the villa justice!!! What a great vacation we had over Christmas 2016! The house is in a beautiful setting, overlooking the Pacific and surrounded by the jungle. While you can see a lot of incredible wildlife at nearby Manuel Antonio park, we saw some of the most amazing things right from the poolside! From sloths, to 3 different types of monkeys, toucans, and a huge variety of birds ... all while floating around in the pool. There are lots of good restaurants around and a couple of small supermarkets on top of the hill. The path near the house that heads to the beach is steep (especially going back up), but it brings you to the best end of the beach where there are great waves to play in, and palm trees to relax under. I won't deny that there was a lot of walking up steep hills, but using the pools or the ocean to cool off in is just awesome! You can also avoid climbing back up to the house from the beach by catching a local bus (for 60 cents) up to the top of the hill, then walking down to the villa. We did this when we were feeling lazy :) . Chris, the concierge, was super helpful and one of the friendliest Costa Ricans you'll ever meet. I highly recommend this villa. We were a large family group, and it was nice to have this villa as our starting point for adventures in the area, and for some quality family time.
The house is beautiful. We had a large group, and this place was perfect. It's near a great beach! We tied hammocks to palm trees, shared big beers, and surfed a lot. We visited the rainforest down the road, ate good food, went dancing, swam in the pool, etc. So fun. I'd love to be there right now. Pure Vida!
What an amazing place to stay! Our stay at Mern's house was ideal from the minute we walked in until the minute we left. Great views of the bay, a great swimming pool tucked near the base of the home, and plenty of poolside seating on which to fool around. The common area is great for any number of guests as well. Highly recommended!
This multi-storied mansion nestled into the bosom of a precipitous cliffside, each equipped with an expansive overhanging balcony and lower deck, boasted an extravagant view of Quepos in all its splendor. One could not help but feel as though they had found themselves in a cloud overlooking nature's wondrous cinema as the endless waring seas with its ever present tides clashed against the unyielding majestic tropical forest. One could readily fund themselves entranced under this cinematic siege. The balconies were formed of an architecture unlike any I had ever seen before. Each were not of symmetric formless lines abutted in such a way to make them jaggedly unnatural and angular, but were created in such a way as if the very earth itself had given rise to the fluid free flowing borders; as if each were made to accentuate the rounding cliffsides thus giving it a softness that could be achieved no other way. The inside of the Manor, with its sky high ceilings made one feel as free as one expected to feel when that very first thought of a Costa Rican adventure initially came to mind bringing with it the elation of experience yet to be had and the thring of the inevitably unexpected to come. It was a brilliant experience, in a brilliant mansion with all the amenities one could ask for, and finally, because Quepos is beautiful and its people so friendly, it will be a trip I will never forget. So if you have a chance to visit the town with its wonderful restaurants, bars, landscapes, festivities and activities; I suggest you do so without hesitation. Though the extremely reasonably priced Manor/mansion is highly sought after even during the rainy season, I implore you to do all in your power to make it your own for the duration of your stay. We could not have asked for a better experience, and that is the sincere truth.... I had little idea of what I'd be in for making my stay in Quepos, but after the brilliant experience my friends and I experienced, I would not dream of booking any other establishmen than this amazing manor.
This is a perfect vacation home.
Whether it be a large family or several couples on vacation, it is the best. Located in the nicest part of Manuel Antonio and is easily accessible. The house is gorgeous, comfortable, roomy and has fabulous recreation areas, along with the best views in Manuel Antonio.
We had daily visits from the white faced and titi monkeys, saw sloths and toucans all the time!!
The house was so great, we spent as much time enjoying it as we did exploring the Manuel Antonio area.
We will be back!!!!
When we arrived at Casa Diamante, we were greeted By Chris the Host for the week. Chris was polite, and very helpful. He showed us around the house, and gave us helpful tips on where to shop and eat. He was always at our beckon call if we needed anything, and always responded promptly and with a smile and great attitude.
The house itself was simply fabulous. Four floors of with great accommodations and sleeping quarters. The upstairs living quarters were very luxurious. Spacious sitting area with a piano, large eating area, nice kitchen area, and the deck with the small pool was breathtaking. You could see the ocean from the deck. The other floors were also very nice - but the top floor was where we spent a majority of our time, if we weren't in the main pool. The main pool was also very nice, it had a great outdoor kitchen area, out door bathroom, and was very clean.
We had many pleasant surprises during our stay at Casa Diamante. First was the wildlife. We were visited by Toucans every morning, we had a sloth in the front tree out by the parking area, and monkeys visited us on a couple occasions during our swims. We went to the park to see wild life, but honestly the wildlife at Casa Diamante was better and closer than anything we saw at the park.
The second great surprise was the staff - they were wonderful people. I spoke about Chris and his help earlier, but we also had housekeepers during the day and a security guard at night. The housekeepers had a big chore keeping up with my family of 17 - but they came and did their job everyday, including our laundry if we needed that done. At night, we had a security guard (not that it was needed).
So all in all, Casa Diamante exceeded our expectations and I would recommend it to anyone needing a larger home to house their family and friends. You won't be disappointed!
