Jennifer Harter purchased this house in 2010
It has the absolute best view and connection to the nicest part of the beach!!! It's all about LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
Stunning views throughout. Separate hang out sreas for large groups. Amazing suspended jungle jacuzzi overlooking the view of the National Park. Awesome pool!!! Monkeys visit daily!! Sloth come too!! Fantastic birdwatching. Our favorite beach is a wuick walk doen the hill. Lots of yummy restaurants within walking distance as well. Nestled in the lush hills of the nicest part of Manuel Antonio. This house is a dream come true! Let us share it with you!!!!
This place was absolutely incredible. The pictures are completely accurate and the location is fabulous. You can walk to the beach [ with one of the most stunning views I have ever seen ] as well as walk to the grocery store, restaurants and any night life.
The house itself is extremely comfortable and plenty spacious. I was greeted by a tucan every morning outside my window, drank morning coffee with a sloth hanging outside our kitchen window, and waved to the monkeys swinging in the tree by the afternoon. It was something out of a story book.
The house staff is beyond helpful with advice and tips on what to do. They go as far as even booking everything for you! Transportation to and from the airport, to and from daily activities, you name it.
Our time here was unforgettable. I even got engaged here!!! I have definitely recommended this place to everyone I know and cannot wait to come back.
The house is fantastic! Plenty of room, very clean and updated, beautiful vistas, close to the (deserted) beach (though the hike uphill is a bit of a workout!), quaint little town with great food/bars and great waves! I would highly recommend this area of Costa Rica and this house to stay! The only "problem" was the inequity of the beds... with seven couples staying here, some couples had larger bedrooms and beds than others. If that doesn't bother anyone, perfect place to stay!
We highly recommend this treasure of a home. It is excellent for a family vacation and sleeps many, many people in private sections of the home. The maid, guard and ground services were excellent. We had the best family vacation and can't wait to return to Costa Rica and this beautiful home.
Casa Diamante is perfect for a large family gathering. We were a party of 9 people and the accommodations were very spacious. After a 3 hour drive from San Jose, we were greeted by Chris, the property manager, who was very welcoming, and was attentive to all of our needs during our entire stay. He provided excellent recommendations for the beach and local restaurants and took care of booking tours and massages, right in the privacy of the Casa. We had daily interaction with local wildlife (monkeys, sloths, iguanas and birds), much to the excitement of the kids. The views from the upper balcony are truly spectacular and a great way to start and end your day. Don't miss Emilios around the corner for both breakfast (killer cappucinos) and dinner (killer ceviche). If you're looking for authentic local cuisine and atmosphere, Jiuberths has amazing seafood (ceviche, meriscada, red snapper, and don't miss the shrimp rice). The pool was lovely, and very refreshing after a day at the beach. A lot of stairs down to the pool, so one trip/day for the elderly. The dirt road down to the beach is right beside the Casa, but be forewarned - you absolutely need a 4WD. If not, it's a long, steep walk. We were very impressed with the cleaning staff. They were very hard working and friendly, and kept the property meticulous on a daily basis, without being intrusive in any way. Marco, the security guard, provided us with peace of mind. He was very kind, and made the extra effort to point out the wildlife at night. This is a 5-star property, but unfortunately during our stay, we had an incident with the hot tub, which could have been catastrophic, with our 7 year old's bathing suit getting caught in the intake valve due to the missing grate. This was repaired 2 days later, but this was a negligent oversight, and almost resulted in a drowning. The railings around the hot tub are a bit low, so keep an eye on the kids and the elderly. Despite this, we would return for all this property and staff offers.
It's beautiful in so many way. Luxurious, spacious, clean, breathtaking views of the ocean and national park and wild life all around. Waking up to toucans in your window to monkeys visiting you by the pool. The manager Chris was gracious informative and helpful at every turn. He made our vacation the best. His chef dinners belong on the food channel. The house has a full maid service who made sure all is clean and orderly. There are many things to do nearby. From a quick walk to the beach to great restaurants to boating and many tours, I highly recommend it and will return soon.
We have just returned from Casa Diamente and would be very happy to recommend it to others. The rooms are spacious and the beds new and comfy. The pool area is very relaxing and the views from the jacuzzi stunning. Actually, the views from every room (bedrooms, living and eating areas) are just spectacular!
The beach, within walking distance, is beautiful and there are many attraction nearby, including the most beautiful national park in Costa Rica: Manuel Antonio.
The manager/in-house chef provides impeccable service to meet all your needs and his food is out of this world.
I can't wait until we are back!
