"The house was VERY clean and well organized. The kitchen, while small, had everything needed to cook a great meal. We really appreciated the nice quality towels and bed linens."

Such a cute house and so nice to be able to bring along the dog, along with a great neighborhood for dog walks. So close to restaurants and shops and walking distance to the aquarium. The only negative was the "basic" cable TV selection which left evening television very limited. If it was summer we'd be out and about but given it was Thanksgiving weekend we were out all day and wanted to crash and watch some sports or movies at night. Should have brought a deck of cards.
We had a great, relaxing vacation in Monterrey. Tranquility Cottage is nicely located just a few blocks from Cannery Row and the Aquarium. Very nicely decorated, all needed amenities and great for our small dog.
I recommend this cottage for a family of four wanting to enjoy the Monterrey, Carmel and central coast of California.
Came here for a long overdue family vacation with our toddler. Our toddler commented the house was "pretty". Most importantly, we got the quality time together that was much needed. Location was a big plus for us...easy to walk to the aquarium and it was a quick drive to the food store and a playground. We'd rent this house again in a heartbeat.
Tranquility Cottage was very clean and the decor fit in nicely with Pacific Grove feel. It was so close to the Aquarium that we walked there. It is nicely located to everything that we needed! The only negative was that the house is located on the corner, so their is some traffic noise. Thanks for letting us stay here, we would definitely stay here again!
Thank you for sharing your cozy home with our family. My 3 year old twins didn't want to leave (ever). We appreciated having the lovely backyard space to grill and have a fire in the evenings. The Kitchen, laundry had everything we needed for the week and also greatly appreciated the beach towels. Great decor and garden. My kids loved the 'angel' (Buddha in the yard).
We had a great stay and would recommend to family and friends.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was more than happy with the location.
The vacation rental was clean.
The property manager was adequately helpful.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Cute, pet-friendly, close to Cannery Mall... Fees are high
This is a really cute little home very close to Cannery Mall and the aquarium. It is so nice to stay somewhere pet-friendly as well. We let the dog out in the back yard not the front patio area because the gate doesn't lock well. We had to keep an eye on our toddler for this reason as well. No complaints about the home, everything was great. My only complaint is the almost $300 in fees (cleaning, etc) no matter your length of stay. We stayed two nights which made the fees 1/3 of our total bill! The house was clean, but not that clean. We still found food in the couch and tables. They also ask you to do the dishes, clean the grill, and gather your towels for laundry. You'd think that amount of $ would cover everything.
All in all, we would stay again if the fees could be negotiated.
