Located in lush, gated tropical setting alive with palms, and hibiscus. Remodeled with decorator furnishings and A/C in both bedroom . King bed in master bedroom, Queen bed in second bedroom and it has a loft with 2 twin futons in it so the place can sleep up to 6 guests.

A 60' Plasma TV in living room, as well as, large Plasma TV's in bedrooms. Surround sound stereo, high speed internet, two futons in the loft for additional guests. A 5-10 minute walk to The Resort at Turtle Bay where there are many attractions that are available to you, day spa, 2 golf courses, helicopter tours, horse back riding, surfing lessons, and a safe swimming and snorkeling beach. You're 10 minutes from famous surfing spots and 20 minutes from Old Town Haleiwa and the harbour. Come be our guest and enjoy 'country' paradise at its best.

There are two pools and two tennis courts on the property. A shortwalk to The Resort At Turtle Bay where there is casual and fine dinning as well as outdoor beachfront restaurants. The hotel offers many attractions that are available to you, including miles of walking trails and two 18-hole golf courses. There are supermarkets, fast food restaurants, The Polynesian Cultural Center (the second most visited attraction on Oahu), famous big wave surfing spots like Waimea Bay, Sunset Beach, Banzai Pipeline all within a 10 minute drive. The Old Town of Haleiwa is a half hour away where you can enjoy some interesting shops, restaurants, and the boat harbor. If you want to swim with the sharks, you can check out the tours offered. Come be our guest and enjoy 'country' paradise at its best.

All properties are individually owned and furnished but will come with a basic sundry starter kit for at least 2 loads of dishes and laundry, two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and a 2-3 garbage bags for the kitchen, 2-3 garbage bags for the bathroom, hand soap for the bathroom and dish soap for the kitchen. Properties are not re-stocked like hotel rooms and for visits longer than 3-4 days, it is recommended that guests procure additional items necessary for personal use. Guests also need to bring personal toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner and shower gel/soap.

Lovely!

Great place, off the beaten path and away from the bustle of Honolulu. The home was well equipped and spacious enough to accommodate a family of four. Even in August heat, trade winds blew through the house keeping the heat downstairs to a minimum. AC units in the bedrooms kept them cool at night as well. Instructions for gated entry were easy to follow and we got in with no problems. Surroundings were pretty and within easy driving distance of Laie and Kahuku with grocery stores, excellent food trucks and quaint local restaurants. Haleiwa and the North Shore beaches were in the opposite direction about 15-20 minutes away. We preferred being far from Waikiki and the traditional tourist attractions and the drive to freeways either North or South is about an hour--a beautiful drive that we never tire of. We did have to restock small things like toilet paper and paper towels and garbage bags because we had an eight day stay and ran out of what was provided half way through. It's a small thing inconvenience compared to the overall experience, which was excellent. Highly recommend!

We liked our stay. The property was well maintained and everything we needed was there.

We did break a glass. You can bill us for it. I also broke the cutting board but I bought a replacement.

The only problem we had was with the front entry gate. The code you gave us lasted only three days and then it no longer worked. We had two vehicles and if both of them left at one time we only had one key to gain access.

Great Condo

The condo is exactly as pictured, beautifully remodeled. The kitchen was well supplied, the bath towels were fluffy & white, beach towels & ice chest provided, & the beds were incredibly comfortable. We stayed 9 days so the dishwasher, washing machine & dryer were really nice to have. The complex is very quiet, and the condo is an end unit as well. We went everywhere during the days, & in the evenings relaxed out back sipping Sangria & watching the golfers, or swimming in the pool. Easy walk to the resort & beach, or plenty of public parking at the resort if you're a family who needs to take more stuff. Central AC would be nice - a couple days were pretty humid & the bedroom units weren't quite enough - BUT there's a wonderful breeze always blowing, so opening the front and back doors kept it cooler, & some evenings very cool.

General North Shore favorites: Hukilau Cafe for breakfast, shrimp trucks, Storto's Sandwiches, Gunstock Ranch for horseback riding, amazing beaches out by Dillingham Airfield. Not so favorites: El Cholo Mex restaurant highly overrated and not worth the wait; Breakers restaurant slightly overrated.

Beth Cronk was a real pleasure and very professional to work with - always responded immediately, & answered all my questions. Since this was our first time using HomeAway, I was a little nervous how it works, & she was very reassuring - explained the process, & sent the directions & instructions a month ahead of our stay.

I would definitely recommend this condo to families and anyone looking for something away from overbuilt Honolulu/Waikiki.
