Kick back and relax in thi delightful beach front unit that provides the colors and art of the tropics. Zealously pursue your pleasure; whether it is snorkeling or swimming on the year round beach, or fishing for tonight's dinner while your friends enjoy cocktails on the beach front lanai; this pleasure providing unit has it all. This is a 3rd floor 1000 SQ FT unit with a large lanai, over looking the beach. New owners just added a new bed and carpeting for the bedroom, in addition to a new sofa bed (twin size) for the living room. It has a 50' LCD TV with High Definition programming, in the living room and a brand new (Feb 15) 42' TV in the bedroom as well as two new Blue Ray DVD players with streaming content (Netflix, Pandora, YouTube, etc). There is a beach side swimming pool and a sauna as well as a modest exercise room. Enjoy spectacular morning sunrises staining the ocean pink or sunsets on the Koolau Mountains you cannot miss with this! The Polynesian Cultural Center is 8 minutes from this property, as well as adequate shopping, site-seeing on the North Shore or a trip to Koolau Ranch for some horseback riding you can have it all! This desirable beachfront unit allows you to kick back and truly relax. Come and experience everything at your bare feet.

All properties are individually owned and furnished but will come with a basic sundry starter kit for at least 2 loads of dishes and laundry, two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and a 2-3 garbage bags for the kitchen, 2-3 garbage bags for the bathroom, hand soap for the bathroom and dish soap for the kitchen. Properties are not re-stocked like hotel rooms and for visits longer than 3-4 days, it is recommended that guests procure additional items necessary for personal use. Guests also need to bring personal toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner and shower gel/soap.

Peaceful North Shore retreat

We stayed at 311 for nearly a week in April. The building is definitely a bit of "Old Oahu" but that didn't bother us since the condo was clean with a very comfy bed and a nice ocean view from the balcony (or "Lanai" as the locals say). It was also nice that boogie boards and beach gear was provided. The private beach was a perfect place to jump in the ocean and just relax, and a welcome relief from the touristy packed beaches of Waikiki where we stayed the prior week.

Definitely a very quiet and calm place far from the madding crowds. Not too far from the Polynesian Cultural Center or Turtle Bay Resort if you want to get your "tourist on", but mostly a nice mellow Hawaiian countryside environment and a great place to decompress. Really good shrimp shack and small local market a very short walk away. Bus stop right in front of the condos, but I'd recommend renting a car if you want to explore the North Shore a bit and have more options of things to do.

There's no AC, but the weather was mild while we were there and they provide extra fans if needed and there's very good cross ventilation in the unit if you keep the balcony and front doors open. There's 24 hour security and most of the staff we ran into were friendly and helpful.

Overall great experience and a place I'd keep in mind for future visits to Oahu.

just as described

This unit was exactly as described. We were very pleased with the unit, the location, the ease of access, the ease of access to grocery, food trucks, beaches. When we walked in and saw the unit and that it was on the beach it really started the vacation off on the right foot. I would highly recommend this unit and location to anyone. it is about 45 minutes from downtown Honolulu, which was what we were looking for. There are easily 8-10 beautiful beaches anywhere from a 5 to 30 minute drive. The week we were here was fairly windy and we found the beach at Turtle bay resort to be the best for swimming and relaxing although the water right outside the door was great also.

Paradise by the ocean! 😎👍🏼

We loved this condo! It was spotless when we arrived with all the comforts of home and is very modern. Hot water, lots of clean fluffy towels & soap, dishwashing detergent etc. The view is sensational, the ocean water very clear for snorkelling, bed was very comfortable as well. Could do with some tongs in the kitchen but everything else is great. Only downside which I know isn't the owners fault is there is a strong sewerage smell at times outside of the building & into the bedroom when the wind blows a certain way. The power goes on & off sometimes in the building which was weird because it then played havoc with the internet & tv resetting themselves. Neighbours somewhere above us weren't very nice either, dropping cigarette buts onto our large balcony and then we assume, emptying their full cooler box of melted ice water ( from the Super Bowl the day before) over their balcony and onto ours, wetting all our towels and swimmers. 😡

Overall we would book this condo again to stay next time.🌴☀️🌺😎👍🏼

Comfortable, good value

Lovely grounds overlooking placid beachfront. Snorkled with a sea turtle. Great for families, we enjoyed watching and hearing the children staying here. Condo was comfortable and a good value for low cost. Kitchen was equipped with necessary implements. Plenty of beach towels, boogie boards, snorkle gear. We did wish the beach chairs were the sand type, low to the ground. Easy going and mellow. Recommend this place for others looking for low cost, economical alternatives to high priced resorts. Thanks for a lovely and memorable stay.

Great View

The building itself looks old but is very secure which was nice. The few people we encountered in the elevator were very friendly.

We stayed here last minute for a few nights and the condo was all that we needed. We had a car and it wasn't too long to get to places (shops, other beaches restaurants etc.) At most places were 40 minutes with stuff in between. It's not far the speed limit is just very low so it takes longer but the views on the way are incredible so the time goes by quickly.

The condo was clean and there were plenty of beach towels, we didn't use the stuff they had out back but had we had more time we may have used the boards and other beachy items.

There is no AC but if you leave the doors open it doesn't matter. We weren't there during the day and had no issues at night.

Great view right out the back door with an extra large lanai!

Really Liked the rental

Tasteful decor, good location away from tourists in Honolulu. Its a former hotel property but now is converted into condos right on the ocean had all the amenities described and just short drive north to PCC and Haleiwa Town "North Shore"
