Lovely grounds overlooking placid beachfront. Snorkled with a sea turtle. Great for families, we enjoyed watching and hearing the children staying here. Condo was comfortable and a good value for low cost. Kitchen was equipped with necessary implements. Plenty of beach towels, boogie boards, snorkle gear. We did wish the beach chairs were the sand type, low to the ground. Easy going and mellow. Recommend this place for others looking for low cost, economical alternatives to high priced resorts. Thanks for a lovely and memorable stay.
The building itself looks old but is very secure which was nice. The few people we encountered in the elevator were very friendly.
We stayed here last minute for a few nights and the condo was all that we needed. We had a car and it wasn't too long to get to places (shops, other beaches restaurants etc.) At most places were 40 minutes with stuff in between. It's not far the speed limit is just very low so it takes longer but the views on the way are incredible so the time goes by quickly.
The condo was clean and there were plenty of beach towels, we didn't use the stuff they had out back but had we had more time we may have used the boards and other beachy items.
There is no AC but if you leave the doors open it doesn't matter. We weren't there during the day and had no issues at night.
Great view right out the back door with an extra large lanai!
Tasteful decor, good location away from tourists in Honolulu. Its a former hotel property but now is converted into condos right on the ocean had all the amenities described and just short drive north to PCC and Haleiwa Town "North Shore"
This was the perfect place for my family and me to stay on Oahu. The check-in process was smooth and everything was in place when we arrived at the condo. The condo was plenty spacious for a family of four, and the ocean view was beautiful. We were able to spot sea turtles from the condo deck. The beach at the condo was sandy and great for swimming or playing in the sand, but not crowded like other popular beaches on the island. I give four stars rather than five due to the condo not having air conditioning. It was a little hot and humid at night, which is to be expected on a tropical island. We were so glad we chose to stay outside of the city. Regardless, we will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves on Oahu.
I loved staying at this property. It was well appointed, had plenty of space for my wife and I to spread out, and had an incredible patio for taking in beautiful sunrises. There are two things that I wish I had known going there. First, not having an air conditioner in July can be a bit much. At night, the ceiling fan makes it tolerable, but if you plan on hanging out in the apartment during the day, it can get a bit uncomfortable. Plan on being out during the day and this is a manageable problem. The other thing I wish I would have known is that just about anything you want to do on the island is a 45-60 minute drive from this place. There is one two lane highway along the coast. Whether you go north or south, plan on an hour for travel time, and plan on enjoying the view along the highway. Getting stressed will not get you anywhere any faster. If you want to be closer to the action, stay further south or further north. My wife and I had a delightful time staying here, and if you don't mind the potential negatives I listed, so will you.
This place was our little heaven. The people were wonderful to work with. The view from this condo to the ocean is amazing. The condo had everything that we needed. I took my husband myself and my two boys. The North Shore of Hawaii is definitely the place to stay. You feel as if you are on Maui. You are super close to the Polynesian center, wonderful beaches, LDS temple, stand up paddle boarding and more. My boys are 14 and 11 they slept in the front room. My husband and I slept in the bedroom. It was nice having a washing machine and dryer. On the porch outside it had boogie boards Etc., which was great for my kids. They also had nice beach towels that I could bring to the beach. The porch had a really nice patio set for four. A perfect place to watch the sunset. Unless you wanted to watch the sunset on the beach that only took two minutes to walk to from your door. If you are looking for lots of activities to do on a budget the Oahu City Card is a great way to go. You can purchase them online at Costco. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as mine!
