Sandy Quillan purchased this cabin in 2008
Close to everything. Middle of attractions. Busy during the day, and quiet during the night. From the deck, you can see the dune entrance. So, you can see everything that goes in and out the gates. Great view.
This cabin was so cozy and comfortable for my family! The location made it easy for us to drop off our quads in the dune parking lot and walk back and forth. Sandy was great to work with and very accommodating! The kitchen and bathroom were both very well stocked with everything we needed, and things we didn't even think to bring ourselves. The large porch and grill made family meal time so enjoyable! I can't wait to come back next year!
The house was perfect for our stay. We spent a lot of time out on the amazing deck that over the road to the dunes. Great hosts and a seamless check in and out. Couldn't have been happier to be so close to the dunes entrance with our buggies.
Great location! Owners were very nice. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It was perfect for our 3 year old granddaughter and our adult children. Busy area during the day and very peaceful around the fire at night. Close to many attractions.
The cabin is very neat and clean. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and utensils. Sandy was very accessible and friendly. Very convenient location to everything.
Make sure you print a map with directions. There is absolutely no signal at the house if you have sprint. Not a bad thing if you take kids on vacation and are tired of watching them live their lives on electronics.
There isnt much privacy in the cabin. It is small with thin walls. You should be very close with the people you stay here with...or be a bunch of guys that dont care. You can hear everything that goes on in the cabin (including the bathroom).
Overall it was a very good stay. The loft gets hot if temperatures are hot during the day and temps dont drop much at night. There are plenty of fans in the place, but if it is extremely hot, they just blow hot air. To be fair, it was in the mid 90s during our stay and only dropped to mid 70s at night.
Very nice people and a convenient location. Sometimes...that is enough.
The cabin had everything we needed and was in a very convenient location for everything in Silver Lake. Sandy was very accessible and was helpful in directing us to find the cabin. We had a great time.
We arrived pretty late due to some confusion on finding the place but Sandy was extremely helpful. The cottage is very cozy, comfortable and clean. Our stay was short but well worth it. It's very close to all the tourist spots. Again Thank you sandy for giving us the opportunity to rent your place and appreciate all your help. We will be back for a longer stay next time :)
