Overview

About the property

Cabin, 1 Bedroom + Loft + Den, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4-5)

Centrally located in Paradise Valley. Can walk or drive to extensive (3/4 mile of riverside) community fishing access on the Yellowstone River. Quiet, but not too far from the main road. This is a clean newer home on 10 acres with a wrap around cedar deck and a large, sunny, sliding glass door. Have dinner and watch the sunset on the Absarokas and Emigrant Peak. Spectacular thundershowers can be seen across the valley. With exterior lights off there is outstanding stargazing at night. Mule deer pass through the property almost every day.

20 minutes from Livingston (with breathtaking scenery on the way), 30 minutes from Yellowstone Park, and 45 minutes from Bozeman. Chico Hot Springs is 6 miles away. The town of Emigrant (3-4 miles away) has a post office, gas station, general store, fly fishing shop, breakfast/lunch place, and the Old Saloon.

Why John Costello chose Yellowstone

We enjoy being close to good dining in Livingston and Chico, countless fishing and hiking spots, and Yellowstone Park. The views and quiet were a big part of our decision too.

What makes this cabin unique

It's nice to be within walking distance, or a 2 minute drive from a varied 3/4 mile community fishing access. It's a great way to finish the day.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Hi John, This is a late thank you. I loved staying at your cabin. It was just as you described. The million dollar view took my breath away. I have so many pictures of the ever changing beauty. I felt safe each and every day. I loved Livingston and of course I went to Yellowstone numerous times. I was in tears my last day in the park. As a single diner they really took care of me at Chico and many of the Livingston's restaurants. I visited friends in Bozeman and the Ruby Valley as well. Again many thanks. Warm regards, Susan

Love this Paradise Cabin

  • 5 of 5

This was our fourth time in this lovely place. I love the convenience, and overall comfort of this cabin. When we arrive, it really feels like a home away from home. We'll be back for sure. Thanks for sharing your piece of Paradise with us!

Perfect house, incredible views

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay here this August. Wonderful house, fit us (family of four) like a glove, felt like home really. Very clean and nicely done. Comfortable beds & all the amenities you'll need. Plus no need to bring any condiments (they're in the fridge)! The very best part though was the outside: views and mountain air. We'd just sit on the deck and gaze.

When staying, be sure to visit The Old Saloon + Flying Pig in Emigrant. Excellent food & ambiance.

Highly recommended.

Great Vacation

  • 5 of 5

The property was very nice. We were there mainly just to sleep and shower, but it had everything you would need to make meals.

There is a lot to do in the area. We spent a couple days touring Yellowstone, went over the Bear Tooth Highway to Red Lodge, spent a day fly fishing in a drift boat with a guide from Sweet Water Fly Shop, went on a trail ride with Bear Paw Outfitters, spent some time at Chico Hot Springs. There are good restaurants nearby. We had a great time in Paradise Valley!

Great location and amenities

  • 4 of 5

We had a lovely time at Paradise Valley. The location was perfect for day trips into Yellowstone. The cabin was spacious and the owners provided many amenities such as condiments, games and movies, hiking/tour books, etc. that were very helpful.

Beautiful scenery. Great little home!

  • 4 of 5

This was a perfect place to stay. The home was clean and had everything you needed!

My kids loved sleeping up in the loft area. The location was a good distance from Yellowstone, which got to be a long drive some days, but close enough to Livingston and emigrant if we needed anything. The living room furniture was not very comfortable and there were few places to sit down and relax. A more comfortable couch would be my only suggestion!
