Welcome to Nutty Brown Manor, a stunning two-story country home just 20 minutes from Austin and 10 minutes from downtown Dripping Springs and Driftwood. Enjoy this spacious hill country vacation home offering 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms that can comfortably accommodate 11 guests.
Enter the home to find a large fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and dining table that seats eight. Just off the kitchen is the cozy living area with ample seating, flat screen TV, electric fireplace, and an abundance of windows looking out into the private backyard. Just down the hall is the master suite with queen size bed, flat screen TV, and oversized en-suite bathroom. Right off the master is a study converted into a bedroom offering a twin bed. Also downstairs is a third bedroom with queen size bed and full bathroom. Journey upstairs to the comfortable loft lounge area with tons of seating and a flat screen TV. Just off this lounge area is the fourth bedroom with a queen size bed and another full bathroom. The detached guest house supplies the last 2 bedrooms, each bedroom with a queen size bed. There is also a full bathroom, living area, and kitchen area in the guest house.
Have a lazy day slumming around on the gigantic shaded back deck overlooking the beautiful hill country landscape. Your furry friends are welcome to tag along on this trip! There is even a section of the backyard that is fully fenced for the pets and small kids to play safely. This property sits close to several wedding venues; Camp Lucy, Vista West, Memory Lane Event Center and the World Famous Salt Lick and Nutty Brown Cafe and Amphitheatre. There is also numerous wineries and breweries that are great fun for all.
Wendy purchased Hills of Texas Lodging in Wimberley, Texas after working independently in the vacation rental industry the two years prior where she built great local relationships and learned first hand what guests are looking for when they come to the area. She is now managing and conducting reservations for a handful of 5 star accommodations located in the Wimberley, Dripping Springs, and Marble Falls areas. Wendy prides herself on GREAT customer service and maintaining all of her rental properties at their highest potential. This little cabin was perfect for our trip to Austin. It was easily accessible from the airport, traffic wasn't bad and it was fairly easy to find. I will say that the place does not sleep 6 as the listing says, but rather 4. The 2 beds are fulls (not queens), but are very comfortable. There was some confusion on check out procedures, but I think we were able to manage fairly well. All in all, it was exactly what we needed, comfortable and cozy.
Hot water, from a water well, was STINKY !!!!! Owners never even apologized or offered any kind of compensation. Said that was a common problem out in the country. I had never heard of such a thing. Management and owners handled it very, very bad !!! We had to bath in foul, sour smelling water. My elderly mother became sick and almost missed her grandson's wedding. Very, very, disappointed. Will NEVER stay in any of their other properties. Will be filing formal complaint with necessary agencies !!!

If a reservation is cancelled more than 30 days before arrival it is fully refundable minus $50 service fee. If a reservation is cancelled within 30 days of arrival, full payment is forfeited.
Check-in time is 3:00 P.M. and check out time is 11 A.M.
All guests participating in the reservation will be registered on the rental agreement prior to your arrival date. Should there be unregistered guests at the property, at any time, for any length of time without prior approval, you will be asked to leave and forfeit the remainder of your reservation.
Guest shall assume all risk of any injury to self and/or their guests. Guest agrees to hold property owner and Hills of Texas Lodging harmless for all injuries incurred while guest is on premises, regardless of how such injuries are sustained.
Guest shall use the property for residential purposes only and in a careful manner to prevent any damage or loss to the property and keep the property in clean and sanitary condition at all times. Guests shall refrain from loud noise and shall not disturb, endanger, or inconvenience neighbors, nor shall guests use the property for any immoral, offensive or unlawful purposes, nor violate any law, association rules or ordinances, nor commit waste or nuisance on or about the property.
