Beautiful, well maintained, modern, spacious mountain house. The back porch looks out over State gameland, so the forest is your private wonderland! Wake up in the morning and enjoy your coffee on the back porch with deer meandering through the forest and songbirds waking up!
Our kitchen is well stocked with a dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster oven, stove/oven and utensils. There is the main room with cable TV, fireplace, and many windows to look out into the woods.
There is so much to do in Arrowhead Lakes. Swimming, fishing, tennis, volleyball, horse shoe pits, picnics, boating just to name a few. Pack a lunch, take the golf cart and visit every pool in our gated community! Outside of the community there is golfing, hiking, white water rafting, Camelback Beach, the outlets and Pocono Raceway.
If you are looking for a relaxing get away, the Poconos is exactly what you need!
We really enjoyed our stay in Marie's mountain house, which is indeed very spacious and clean. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the Jacuzzi in the master bathroom was a very nice bonus. Arrowhead Lake is itself a very quiet community with lots of great outdoors opportunities nearby. We even did some wine tastings about a half hour away. Overall, I would definitely recommend and stay again.
Marie was fantastic she was available for any questions we had .. The kids loved the house , some quotes : "why can't we buy this house" "why is their vacation house so comfy" "why don't we have a kids room at our house" and the list goes on .. The kitchen had everything we needed the kids loved the game room and the extra room that's not pictured here .. The community was also great we used 2 of the pools and visited one beach which was small but enjoyable. Thank you Marie !!!!
We were here on vacation in July and had a great time. The house was very spacious and we had plenty of room for the 5 of us and the dog. It was nice to be able to get away and to be able to bring the dog with us. He had just as much fun as the rest of us. The owner, Marie, was grat to work with. She responded promptly to every question that I had.
I would recommend renting the golf cart. It is an extra fee but will worth it.
We had a great time at this cabin! We stayed there a week with 2 other couples. The place was really clean and had plenty of room. We really liked the open floor plan. There is a ton of natural light through all the windows. It was great to have our morning coffee on the back deck overlooking the woods. The location is great – really close to the lake, and tons of beautiful hiking trails. We used the golf cart which made it super easy and fun to get around. At night we lit the fireplace and played foosball and board games. We have stayed at a few cabins in the area and this was definitely the cleanest and nicest for the price.
