We live in Vermont and our grandchildren live in Bend. We fell in love with the area & Seventh Mountain was perfect for us because it feels like Vermont. We love our time there - see our photo above at Crater Lake. Sometimes it's a long week-end and sometimes it's a month. We have updated our condo to make it as comfortable and nice as possible for our family and yours. We hope you enjoy it, and let us know what more we can do to improve it. Enjoy!

We love the outdoors, the dry mountain air, and our East Coast families love to vacation in Central Oregon - they say the adjoining forest trails offer the 'best Mountain Biking in the country, under-publicized and under utilized!' We all enjoy the pools, hot tubs, skating, skiing, stables, hiking/walking along miles of the River Trail; and, we don't have to drive to any of these activities except skiing via the shuttle to Bachelor. We also love sitting on the deck watching the birds and listening to the wind in the ponderosas, reading. At the end of the day if we don't want to cook or walk to the restaurant it's only 6 miles to the best culinary and beer options west of VT.
We chose our unit because the only scenery from our deck and our living room windows is a natural landscape - forest, river, rocks, and many birds and squirrels. We prefer the second floor because of the minimum number of steps. We are a short walk away from the recreation areas and on the central 'green', yet out of hearing, normally. We love the fact that we have 2 bathrooms and the ability to sleep 6 people when necessary. We have spent nights in the queen murphy bed and it is very comfortable. We love having wireless internet, 2 TVs, and a radio/cd player. We have a medium-sized fridge,dw, microwave, and 4 burner range with oven and cook many meals.
"Judith, . If I owned a VRBO I would want it exactly like you have yours made out to be. There's not a thing I could think of I would change. Thank you so much for doing a great job. S... feels the same way."
Bend is probably our (two adults, two kids: 12 and 9) favorite place in America, there's so much to do. We've stayed in a variety of places in town, but this was our first time at Seventh Mountain. We loved it and will certainly be going back. We had a few issues with the TV and wi-fi in the condo, but who needs them when you're in Bend? The resort is great - pools, trails, restaurant, mini-golf, etc. But the best thing about Seventh Mountain is its location. You're only a few miles from town one way, and Mt Bachelor the other. Plus Tetherow and Widgi Creek golf courses are very close which is great if you happen to play a lot of golf like me.
We just returned from our Spring Ski Trip to Bend Oregon and the kids are I were overjoyed to come back to Inn of the Seventh Mountain every evening. The pools, hot tubs, sauna and mini golf was a big hit for us. Beautifully maintained property with most all the conveniences of home. Short drive to Bend where Trader Joe's, Costco and all the fun local restaurants and spots to enjoy made it hard to choose where to go each day. Nancy P's bakery and The Dough Nut where two of our favorites.
We just came back from a five night stay in this unit. Spent the days at Mt Bachelor and the nights in the condo. Great value. The condo was clean and well kept. The bedroom was nicely decorated. With three girls, loved having two bathrooms! Dealings with the property owner were prompt and straightforward. The only (minor) negatives was the lack of a full size fridge in the kitchen and the TV in the living room could be bigger. Would definitely stay here again!
There were some really wonderful things about this place and some that could use improvement. The positives....Our check in went smooth and they were all so friendly. The grounds are kept very nice and was great for entertaining our Grandsons with the heated pools, hot tubs and ice skating. Its close to the mountain for us skiers and also close to town. It was quiet and a beautiful setting. The condo however, was not as clean as we had expected and is dated. The couch was dirty, the coffee pot fell apart as I tried to use it, the king bed was hard and uncomfortable, the toilet in the Master bath toilet didn't flush well, the tv in the master bedroom was really small, there weren't enough towels and wash cloths for the 4 of us for 4 days, nor enough blankets and the ones that were there were thin. With so many cleaner and updated choices to stay in Bend for the money, we wouldn't stay here again.
We have spent a winter week skiing at Mt. Bachelor for about 20 years now. We used to stay at Sun River, but have stayed at 7th Mountain for the past few years because it is much closer to both Bend (literally 5 minutes) and the Mountain (15 minutes). Three years ago we found this property, and will continue to use it as long as it is available. This is an identical unit to those rented out by the resort, but a better value when combined with Mt. Bachelor mult-day ticket packages.
The property is exactly as it appears in the photos, and we have found to be clean and well maintained. We cook many meals in, and the kitchen is adequate, and well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. The refrigerator is a little small. There are plenty of linens and towels. Good cable package for TV, DVD player is fine, resort based WiFi is a little weak at times.
Renting and check-in (at the resort front desk) is absolutely hassle free.
We had a wonderful time over the holidays in Bend and really enjoyed your condo! We are already talking about planning another trip as soon as we can and have been telling our friends about it as well. Thank you for allowing us to stay there and we look forward to doing it again real soon.

Bachelor Mountain, Deschutes National Forest.
High Desert Museum is a must, the Lave Caves, and the Historical museum in Bend are interesting. Golf is everywhere, including next door. Many rafting and fishing guides, companies, and rentals. Trails go from our condo to hundreds of miles of hiking and mountain biking trails throughout the National Forest and along the River. In winter a shuttle bus from our condos to Bachelor for Skiing and dog-sled activities. Lakes and rivers and camping all a very short drive. Young children could be occupied at Seventh Mountain for days with pools, playgrounds and other facilities. Bend has a record number of beer breweries and outstanding and varied restaurants as well as shops, concerts, galleries and outdoor fairs and activities. Nearby towns (Sisters, Redmond, etc) are known for their rodeos, quilt shows, country fairs and art festivals. The Indian museum on the Warm Springs Reservation is a favorite of ours also. Local scenery varies from snow-capped mountains to the west and high dessert ranches and wilderness to the east.
