Enjoy your stay in paradise with all the comforts of home. This barrier free designer decorated two bedroom, two full bath condo overlooks the pool and jacuzzi spa. Accommodations include a king size bed in the master suite, queen size bed in the second bedroom and a large comfortable sleeper soft in the living room along with a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, stove and oven, microwave and refrigerator with ice-maker. This beautiful unit is smoke free with high speed internet and an assigned covered parking space for your vehicle. On site parking is available for a boat or guest car. Three flat screen TV's, along with ceiling fans are in every room. An outside porch complete with table and chairs make viewing the activity at the pool inviting. Everything you need for a perfect tropical holiday.

The property features two elevators, a large outdoor pool, air conditioned fitness facility and tennis courts. Washers and dryers are on site as well as a large party store for all of your grocery and beverage needs near by. Famous Smathers Beach with rental equipment such as sail boats, para-sailing, jet skis, etc. is just down the road.

We are located just a few miles away from Duval Street where you will find gourmet restaurants, the world famous Sloppy Joe's Bar along with many others, and wonderful shopping. There is a city bus stop within a short walk from the condo.The unit is wheelchair accessible.

Good Location

It is a good location, everything is close enough, the bus stop, a grocery store, even Publix is just 5-10 minutes away. The pool is clean and it has a jacuzzi.

Unsanitary, Should not be open to the public.

After emailing the owner to inform them of the units condition we then spoke with the owner the very next day. I attempted to give the client feedback but she was prepared to prove me wrong. I advised her, I did not request to speak to her to argue so if she did not want to hear my feedback we should end the conversation. The owner accused me of being way out of line and everything made it very clear that everything I stated was false and I was incorrect The very little bit I was able to speak was shut down by the owner. As mentioned before this person came ready to defend their home and was not wanting to hear anything that I had to say. My time is important to me when I am with my family so I informed her if she did not want to listen to my feedback I would be hanging up, she said "ok", i said "have a nice day" and hung up. There was no humility with this business interaction. if you are in the customer service field you need to be able to receive feedback from the clients you are charging to stay in your home. The owner was very proud of the fact that the furniture was recently purchased and bragged about the brand "tommy bahama". I would like to be very clear, I did not have any concerns with the furniture. It seemed well built and did appear to be recently purchased. Its everything else in the home that needs some attention. A previous review for this location stated ".But we will not stay here again due to the location and worn-out look and uncleanliness." Jan 11th, 2016" This previous clients commentary is 100% accurate. The reason why I am requesting a full refund is due to living conditions which we were forced to endure for one overnight. We arrived to the home between 10-11pm and after deciding we did not want to stay at this location we inuired with a few local hotels but we could not find an available room so late in the evening. Aside from the unfavorable time we were traveling with small children so re-loading to go take a chance and find a new hotel was out of the question. My family reunites once a year with relatives coming all the way from Alaska and a small portion of this vacation was affected negatively when we chose to stay at this location. From a client stand point I feel this entire unit should be remodeled. it is not in any condition to be open to the public. The commentary from previous reviews can attest to the feedback I am providing. I ran out of space on this review. Do not stay at this location until it has been remodeled.

Owner's Response: Upon reading your review, I wasn't quite sure if you had the correct unit. When my unit is turned I have two cleaning staff turn the unit which I many times check myself. They have been with me for several years. There is no "urine odor" in my unit. I had just had my tile floors in the living room and kitchen professionally stripped and waxed prior to your reservation. The odor you were smelling was perhaps the chemical residue of the stripper and wax which is now gone. The "sticky juice" was not juice on the counter which was in a very tiny area of the bar counter - that was dried hard and left by the workers who did my floors when they left their brush on the counter. We have removed that wax. It was not sticky it was hard as a rock. My Tommy Bahama sofa is one year old. The mattress came with the couch. Anything thicker would make the bed impossible to fold up. The building is 12 years old. I take personal pride in keeping it as clean and up to date as reasonably possible. Take a look at my past reviews - They speak for themselves. There are clean sheets in the master bedroom closet along with 2 pillows for the sleeper sofa. I'm sorry you didn't see them. They are in clear view. When we spoke briefly on the phone when you checked out after 2 days you demanded a FULL REFUND. I told you that that would be impossible because had you called me when you checked in and complained I would have worked very quickly to resolve your issues. You never called - yet you and your group of 6 people stayed for 2 nights and cooked in the unit leaving me with plenty of dishes on the counter to put away. Most of my reviews are 4 stars based on the cleanliness of my unit.I'm not quite sure if this is a scam for me to return your money. I am unable to do that beause your complaints are unfounded. In the four years I have been renting you are the first guest to voice such a complaint. I called Homeaway after our conversation and they told me that this is the latest scam with guests - threaten a bad review - demand their money back or else. I am sorry my unit didn't meet your needs for 6 people. Perhaps the next time you visit Key West you can select a hotel for $450.00 a night with only a bed and bathroom and you can then rent 3 rooms for your group. You booked my unit because it is large, affordable, and my reviews are outstanding. The Casa Marina is now taking guests. I suggest you stay there the next time you visit.

Very good place to stay in keywest

Overall experience was good. Nice view from balcony , Condo was clean and all instructions included too. However, washer and dryer in condo were not working and had to use ground floor machines. It was good experience overall, will recomend it to my friends.

Stay Away from this

Stay away from this property.This is totally a scam. Not only the unit doesn't look like its description, but also the owner is trying to use the property damage insurance that she forces the renter to buy and use it to open the claim after the stay. What's a shame.

We are in receipt of the email from the insurance company, notify us about the claim that she has filed. It's totally fraud. She claim there was blood in the curtain at the doorwall. We don't even know there was one there. The thing that really bothers me was this owner NEVER CALLED US to ask about the incident AT ALL, and a month later, YES, A MONTH LATER, we got the e-mail from insurance company let us know about the claim. I try to call her several times to discuss the issue, all the calls went directly to her voice mail, seems like the number is blocked. Even though the monies for damage insurance has been already paid, I am still going to report it to VRBO and the insurance company so they know this is a fraud and not to pay her.

Owner's Response: Dear Guest, Your group consisted of six people. Four adults and two children. You stayed at my unit for two nights. Upon your leaving my cleaning crew (one woman and one handyman) informed me that both bedspreads had a black stain on them and they had to be cleaned. My next renter informed me (at check in) that there was a black stain on the door wall curtains in the living room so my assumptions were that your party did the damage because of the black stains on the bedspreads. You claim that you were not in the unit - but you stayed in the unit for two days. You claim you did not do the damage - but how could you be sure since there were two children and four adults in the unit. I am quite sure you did not follow the children around the unit for two days. I submitted a claim two weeks after your stay because I had the drapes dry cleaned by two different companies here in Key West and they both told me "The Stains Won't Come Out". I do not make fraudulent claims. In the four years I have rented my property through CSA I have only had to make one serious claim and that was because someone damaged my sleeper sofa by jumping on the end and it broke the frame. Those guests ALSO claimed they didn't do the damage....... It's too bad that you can't take responsibility for what your group did to my drapes. That is why I have my renters purchase insurance for - For ACCIDENTS. I will inform Homeaway.com that you will receive a bad Renters Review so that other homeowners will not rent to you in the future. Homeaway has now activated that feature in our rental program. Sham on you.
