"We had such a great experience with this property! The apartment was clean and in a great part of Boston. The owner also had suggestions for traveling through the city and other helpful tips. The whole process was very easy and enjoyable."
This apartment was perfect. The location was just as advertised, was easy to find, walking distance to everything it was clean and nice. If you like Italian food, there are 78 Italian restaurants in the North End that you can walk to from this apartment. Yvone and Melissa answered questions and concerns very quickly, they were great before we got there and during our stay. It is a small two bedroom with a kitchen and shower bath, perfect for sleeping and eating and holding your stuff for when you go out to see Boston. We would recommend this place for anyone that wants to check out Boston, it is not a place to have a rental car, only street parking, this place is for the walking tourist. Public transportation is close, ferry is close and train to other cities is also within walking distance. We would stay here again if we ever decide to visit Boston again. Great place to rent.
An Urban apartment with nicely useable spaces, furniture, and amenities. The two bedrooms are separated by the kitchen and living area which allows for a quieter, more private experience for everyone. We enjoyed the proximity to the freedom trail as well as the character of the North End neighborhood. We easily found great restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries within a couple of blocks of the place and enjoyed seeing the locals going about their business during all times of the day. The manager provided good communication before and during our stay. We'd recommend it.
My family of 6 (4 kids) stayed for 9 nights over Spring Break and truly enjoyed the place. Having never been to Boston before, I was concerned about safety for late-nights out, but quickly realized that this apartment is located in a very safe and well-lit area where others were always out and about. Entrance to the apartment is on the 4th floor of narrow, winding stairs, but we weren't bothered at all. The space was very clean, but is small... the bathroom is tight with small sink and small shower, the kitchen does not have a full-size refrigerator or dishwasher and has very little counter space... but we were prepared for that based off of pictures. It did not seem too small for the 6 of us, and we fit perfectly well for sleeping arrangements with 3 kids on in one bedroom (1 on top twin bunk, 2 on bottom full bunk) and on the living room sofa that flattened to a bed. My husband and I were glad to have our own space in a 2nd bedroom on a queen bed. There are closets with hangers in each room for our clothes, which was nice, and plenty of hooks in the kitchen entry for coats and bags to hang. There were plenty of power strips for all of us charging our electronics. There were plenty of nice, thick towels, and extra sheets. Laundry was shared off the stairwell, but worked just fine. The kitchen was stocked well for dishes and cookware for our family. We cooked most of our breakfasts and some lunches at the apartment, but enjoyed the huge selection of Italian restaurants for dinner just steps away from the place. It was nice to be able to bring back leftovers to eat for lunch since the portions at most of the restaurants are huge! The apartment has a very "dangerously" close proximity to Bova's Bakery, which in my family's opinion is far better for cannolis than the also nearby Mike's Pastry. We actually went to Bova's 3 times one day! Shhh!! Boston has so much to see and do, but with this being our first time visiting, the North End was an ideal area to be in, and the apartment itself was in a great location for TD Garden (10 min walk at most), wonderful restaurants (several within 5 minutes), Quincy Market (10 minutes), and of course, the Freedom Trail (a block). The T is about an 8 minute walk, and Uber took less than 15 minutes to and from the airport. One of my family's favorite part about our trip with all that we did and saw, was staying in this apartment. We would definitely stay again and definitely recommend for others.
I was pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of our condo rental. The place was well-stocked with housewares, and really felt like a home for the duration of our stay. A great place to call home while visiting Boston!
North end is fantastic. Zoe rental was great to respond to any inquiries. Yes, 4 flights up but manageable. Clean and walking to sightseeing and subway so convenient. Do not depend on clothes dryer.
This apartment is located in the heart of the North End, but not on a main road. The side road was lit at night, however, I would feel uncomfortable walking it by myself. It is only about a 10 minute walk from the closest T (Haymarket) and very easy to get to if you follow Hanover Street. The apartment was small and cozy, as like most places in a big city and we were able to fit 5 adults comfortably. I will warn you that there is only air conditioners in the master bedroom, living room, and kitchen. The bunk bed room only has a window fan. Thankfully, it was cool enough at night to leave that on and not get hot. We didn't use any of the kitchen appliances except for the fridge so I can't speak to any of those. The bathroom is tight but functional. The stairs up are not that bad either, just old and noisy. I would recommend this apartment to people like us who just need a place to shower and lay our head at night. We did not spend much time there as we were non-stop for 5 days :) Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and being so close to everything. We would definitely stay here again because you really can't beat the price for being right in the city. Thank you!
