We started vacationing in Trinity Center over twenty years ago. We love the area and all that it has to offer in terms of boating, fishing, hiking, recreating, and having fun with friends and family.
The Owner purchased this cabin in 2005
It's a quiet cozy cabin that will definitely get you away from it all! Went here with my wife and two little kids for a long weekend and we found it was perfect for that. Highly recommend if you are going to be vacationing, hiking, hunting in the area.
The lack of WiFi was a bummer, but you sign up for that! They did have satellite TV!
We have been to the cabin several times!! We love it!! We recommend it to all our friends and our friends have stopped by to visit while we are there. It is very comfortable and welcoming!!
Michelle and Jim are outstanding owners!!
My family and I stayed here in July and had the best time the lake is close it was very quiet and the weather was awsome we twll everybody about this cabin we will be back thanks
Last year we went to Angels Camp. We had hired someone to watch our home and pets here in West Sonoma County. The night before we came home, we got a call from our house/pet-sitter's sister. He took the keys to one of our cars and went for a joy ride with our Chihuahuas Pepe & Milo and was booked on a DUI! I looked up the animal control website and saw two scared little dogs incarcerated. The following day when we got home, we had to retrieve them and the car from impound. = Nightmare!
After last year's fiasco, I found a dog friendly*, cute, comfortable, and newer house on VRBO. Since we had never traveled to Trinity, I decided to book a week. I wanted to include our dogs since they were so severely traumatized last year. At first I was a little weird about sketchy cell phone service, but then I was glad for it because of all the client calls I get (I'm a hairstylist), and calls from well meaning friends that call me with their drama whether I am in the USA, Mexico, or Europe. I have really high blood pressure and the slow pace in Trinity Center and even Weaverville (grocery shopping, dinner out, and antique hunting*) was akin to how I feel when I am south of the border. We rented a patio boat on the lake and fished and swam one day. We went sightseeing. This was our granddaughter's first vacation! We all had a very nice and restful time
My wife, dog, and I rented the cabin for a weekend in the snow. The house was easy to find and had everything needed for an excellent snow trip. We stoked the wood stove, watched the snow fall, played pool and board games, watched some movies...it really felt like home. This cabin has all the amenities, it is super clean, and it is beyond cozy. Love the deck! They even had sleds for us to use in the driveway!. We had a great time and we will be back for sure!
Really great cabin that completely took us off guard based on the affordable price point. Everything was clean, relaxing, and high quality. It was just my wife and I visiting, but there is more than enough room for a large group even with only one bedroom. We're sure to book another trip next summer.
