Awesome Secluded Getaway
We had a wonderful time visiting the area. Great location for hiking in the Trinity Alps area. We hardly had anyone on the trails with us, warm Fall days. Fun local spots to visit. We loved having all the modern amenities with rustic charm thrown in. A little off the beaten path but worth it!
We enjoyed spending the Christmas holiday in this cabin with our family . Nice and private plenty of room for five adults and two children could also sleep more .
Lots of space for the price
Stayed 11/3 - 11/6, very spacious downstairs (converted garage) with a pool table that has a definite list to port =). Lots of board games to play, DVDs, and plenty of warm blankets for the bed. Basic kitchen accommodations were completely adequate the coffee was a nice touch. Super quiet area. No light or noise pollution either. Love the porch overlooking peace and quiet.
Instructions for leaving were very clear and simple. This time of year was perfect to go hiking, caught it before the serious weather set in.
Great deal for the price.
Quiet and beautiful surroundings
We enjoyed this beautiful cabin. Private and peaceful.
We enjoyed our week here - it was very relaxing and very quiet. We didn't get any cell/wifi service at all but we were fine with that and made 2 trips to Weaverville to access cell/wifi info. Due to dates of stay, many nearby fishing holes weren't open however we were able to find pretty good fishing about 20 minutes away towards Lewiston. The neighborhood was quiet with very few residents about. If you have a dog, be very careful and aware of one neighbor's dog (at the intersection of Fir Tree) that is often left off leash. The unit was clean and spacious! We really enjoyed the pool table and variety of games. Pretty much off grid type unit with exception of good amount of cable TV channels. Weather was great and bugs few so we spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony.
Really had a nice time. I loved the upper deck area in the evening. Very comfortable!
