Homey, Convenient, Outdoors and Private
Perfect distance from beach, police station, hospital, library, public pool, restaurants and shopping centers-- within a couple miles, but away from crowds and noise. Parking is conveniently on site. The property is bright and airy because of the inside-outside flow. Invigorating environment due to open space, fresh air, and variety of plants. We had our own private outdoor area.
Location was amazing!!!
Great town!! And the location was amazing and so close to beach!
Not far to go to the beach
location was perfect, fairly quiet ( main road a bit noisy), distance to beach was short. wasn't sure if we were talking to one of the owners( he was not very cordial). checking out was a bit iffy, we wasn't sure which unit was the owners to leave a key. the house rules didn' t really say. our stay however was very nice.
It is a sweet beach!
I am so sorry there was confusion about where to leave the key.
For future reference we ask that guests leave the key in the door as the housekeeper will be in shortly. I just checked, the framed house rules by the coffee maker states to leave the key in the door. I will redo it and make that statement in a bigger type font.
Perfect for Small Groups
The property was absolutely beautiful and so close to all the major attractions in Kailua! Paul and Rachel were super accommodating and easily accessible for anything we needed during our stay. We would gladly stay here again and would recommend this spot to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Kailua or lanikai!
Thank you for your kind words. Do make plans to return again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our little home away from home is in a perfect location for easy access to the beach and also an easy stroll into town. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome gift of delicious sweet bread and snacks when we arrived. We felt at home and had priivacy and quiet during our stay. Thank you for the chairs and boogie boards which we used every day. We love the beautiful beach and had a wonderful time there. With shopping and many choices of places to eat close by we had everything we needed. The shower is extra large too.
We are located between Kailua Beach and Kailua Town. There are tennis courts, basketball gym and outdoor courts and an Olympic sized pool (with a lifeguard) at the park only 13 houses toward Kailua town. Beautiful sandy Kailua beach is 10 houses in the other direction. A hike to the pillboxes (concrete lookout stations built in World War 2) over Lanikai gives a wonderful view of Kailua bay and the ocean.
