About the property

Ocean view condo, walking distance to Costa Azul, Zippers, La Roca, Old Mans

This condo is across the street from the beach in a small development called Mar Y Sol. Our unit is a very private two story end unit with a big veranda that wraps around the unit. We look out over the top of Mykonos and La Jolla condos for our views of Punta Gorda, Punta Palmilla and the gorgeous Costa Azul. You can walk to Zippers restaurant and surf shop as well as many other great places to eat. If you live to surf, this is the place for you! Walk to the waves to surf at Zippers, the middles, old man and la roca , to name a few. Then at the end of your day, throw a steak on the gas grill, grab a beer and enjoy the incredible view at the condo.

For those more into relaxation, enjoy walks on the beach, read a book on the veranda or maybe learn how to surf! There is something for everyone to enjoy.

Amenities at the condo:

-end unit condo with two levels, very private- our building only has two units

-Two bedroom-both on upstairs level- one has a king bed the other has two twins which can be set up as a king

-Two and half bathrooms

-upstairs, the master bath has shower with hand wand, toilet and sink

-hallway guest bath has shower with hand wand, toilet and sink

-main floor has a half bath with a toilet and a sink

-Fully stocked kitchen

-Wifi interent

-Dish network tv

-Community Pool and hot tub area at Mar Y Sol condos

- condo has a very large wraparound terrace with a gas grill

-check in time is 4:00 p.m. check out time is 11:00 a.m.

This condo is a two level condo, with living room, kitchen, laundry room and half bath on main level, a full set of stairs to upper level with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

There are also stairs to get to the pool area which is accessed through a security gate. There are a few stairs from the upper level parking area to the front door of the condo. There is also a lower level parking area which has a full flight of stairs to access the condo. There are security doors for each parking area.

We like to let potential renters know there are stairs in case they would prefer to rent a condo without stairs. We have had many older clients who have stayed here and had no problem with the stairs.

If you are looking for a sunny warm winter escape for a few months or just a week long get away to surf, this is the condo for you. I'm sure you will have fun!

We are pet friendly. One dog per rental.

Location and view!!! This condo is walking distance to the best surfing , Costa Azul with surf breaks, La Roca, Zippers, Old Mans and La Bocana to name a few. It is easy walking distance to Zippers surf shop/restaurant and many other restaurants. San Jose Del Cabo is the best of both worlds. Easy access to surfing and snorkeling, but also a short drive to Cabo San Lucas with all the shopping and nightlife or old town San Jose with cultural events and art/wine walk and other great shopping.

What makes this condo unique

THE VIEW and location at Costa Azul!!! Across the street from the beach plus the view, size and privacy of the veranda where the key factors in my decision to buy this condo. Also, this unit is in a building of only two units, both are end units, so as far as condos go, it is as private as you can get. We like that our development has a pool and hot tub, but as they are a one minute walk from our unit, we can enjoy them, but don't have to hear or see other owners/guests enjoying the pool area while in our condo or on the veranda.

Great condo

We enjoyed the view more than anything else. There was another stunning sunrise to greet us every morning. The kitchen had lots of stuff to cook with. We liked how close it was to the Mega, which is like the Mexican Walmart. We could also walk to several restaurants if we wanted to. Condo was clean, wifi worked great. Don't miss snorkeling at Chileno beach. It was fantastic and only a 15 minute drive from the condo.

Can't wait to go back for our next vacation!

Great location. We walked on the beach most mornings. Really close to shopping at The Mega and many other stores. Lots of restaurants close by if you want to eat out. We preferred to use gas grill at the condo. Kitchen had every gadget you can think of. The place was very clean, nice linens and towels. Pool and hot tub were enjoyable, although we prefer the beach. Prettiest beach, Palmilla, was a five minute drive, Chileano beach for snorkeling was 15 minute drive. Wifi worked well and tons of TV channels on Dish network, some Spanish, some English. The views are what sets this condo above the rest. We loved every sunrise , sunset and the view and sound of the surf. Going back next year!

Great place, excellent location!

Condo is clean and just as described, perfect for a family!

We traveled with our teenage son who is a surfer. We had a rental and found it very easy to get on the road to drive to any nearby (2-5min) and not so close (30min to 1 hour drive) surf spots, from Los Cerritos Beach on the Pacific all around to Shipwrecks and Nine Palms on the Sea of Cortes.

The condo is less than a 5 min drive to the supermarket, the Bird Sanctuary and beautiful Estuary beach, where you can have long walks as beautiful, loud and huge waves crash on the beach. Visit the marina, try free yoga on a paddle board on Saturday mornings, head to the San Jose plaza....

So many conveniences in this condo with well equipped kitchen. Loved watching the beautiful daily sunrises with fresh fruit smoothies in the morning, tasty Mexican coffee.... I miss it all already!

We will stay here again on future visits to Cabo.

Condo was great. We felt it was a really good deal considering the incredible views and how close we were to the beach. It was only a few minutes walk to have our toes in the sand. The unit was very clean and updated. Kitchen had more gadgets then we could ever use. The wifi worked great. Nice having a grill and a more private area to hang out outside. We have rented condos in Cabo before and this one had the largest patio area of any we have stayed in. Check out Zippers bar/restaurant if you go. You can walk to it and they have live music and rent surfboards!

Best deal on vacation rental in San Jose Del Cabo!

The photos are good, but the condo is so much nicer when you get there. The size of the patio and having our own gas grill was very much appreciated. The bedrooms were very big and had nice beds. Easy walking distance to so many restaurants and bars. We rented a car, but only used it to go snorkeling at Chileno Beach and day trip to Cabo Plumo for more snorkeling and a dive trip, had a GREAT time at both places. Dolphin discovery was a blast for our kids, age 8 and 12. We never had time to use the pool and hot tub, but they looked nice. Wife had work to do and wifi worked great for her. We looked at alot of places before choosing this one. For the location , view and size of the condo, it was a great deal.
