This property is right in the middle of historic downtown Bristol - just walk to everything. Start the day with a walk to the Angelina's coffee shop, or Bristol Bagels, pick up your newspaper and head back to enjoy sitting on the beautiful front porch and watch the world go by. Then do some antiquing, or check out the Herreshoff (Shipbuilders of the America's Cup yachts) Museum, or stroll to Linden Place or visit the beautiful arboretum at Blithewold, the beaches or shopping in Newport, or any of the galleries or historic sites in town, or picnic at expansive Colt State Park on the water. There are many fine restaurants to choose from; Cafe Le Central, Bristol Oyster House, Red Lefson's and Christian's, to name a few. Watch amazing sunsets over the water looking out to Popasquash Point on Narrangasett Bay. Chart a sail. You can even go shellfishing or clamming and steam up your finds in the well-equipped kitchen. Entertain friends. Head out to Prudence Island to see the wildlife. There are so many things to do right here, you will really enjoy collapsing into the soft, comfortable beds with Egyptian Cotton sheets in the calming blue bedrooms.
This historic home retains many of its original federal details, and is a joy experience.
