Andrew St. Peter purchased this cabin in 2003
From the lodge you will experience the most beautiful sunset and sunrise in Maine. The moonlit nights show the lake. The slow and peacefully setting allows for a relaxing time. Snowmobiling is available right from the lodge. The trails are only 3/4 mile from the lodge. A country store is only one mile from the lodge.
wonderful sunsets from the porch you can see nearly the entire length and with of cross lake
While the weather didn't cooperate much for fishing, the cabin was beautiful. The main bed is a queen but if you're used to bigger you can use the beds upstairs which is what we did. The water flow in the bathroom sink was so low as to make it unusable. The water at first tasted very metallic, and if you let it run, it turns very sulphuric. No worries, just made it more like "camp". We had a microburst storm while there that knocked out the TV antenna. Again, we didn't go there to watch television, so no worries.
Overall a nice place to stay with more conveniences (TV, phone, Internet, dishwasher) than you'd expect in such a location.
This cabin was perfect! The sunsets here are amazing! Perfect location for snowmobiling.
Very clean, just as described. We enjoyed a week here, and although this was not a normal winter,
we still managed to ride right from the cabin. We are hoping to go back next winter and get even more miles
in than this trip. Andrew was great to deal with as well as his caretakers, and his brother Rudy even dropped by to
check on things! You won't be disappointed with this property
Thank you for a great vacation!! The cabin was perfect. Nice and comfy. We had a great time and rode 521 miles on the snowmobile trails and saw the amazing views. The cabin is in the perfect place and nice and quiet all day and night. Much needed relaxing vacation!! Thanks again!
Wow! What a beautiful place. We went here to do some ice fishing. The camp was warm and comfortable. It was everything we were looking for. The fishing was really good too. I would recommend this camp to everyone and look forward to going back.
Thanks a million!
We booked the cabin for 3 nights in October, 2015. Everything was perfect, exactly as the description indicated. Very well stocked with more than one would expect. Ample supplies for cooking, including a fully stocked spice and condiment cabinet. Plenty of towels, handmade quilts to keep warm and very comfortable bed. The cabin was spotless, and extremely well adorned with moose caricatures and dolls everywhere. The view from the back porch can't be beat. Secluded, but not remote. We watched the wildlife the entire time we were there. Even though the weather did not cooperate, we had a lot of things to stay busy inside. The WiFi worked great, tv reception was good, but Verizon cell service was spotty. If the weather had been better we would have loved to use the canoe to paddle in the lake or up the stream which runs by the cabin. We could tell that a lot of time and effort went in to the designing as furnishing of this cabin. As a fellow VRBO owner with six cabins ourselves in Oklahoma, we truly appreciate and recognize when another owner shares our passion for detail, cleanliness and a great value stay. We woul highly recommend staying here.
When we arrived at the cabin it was very clean and orderly. There was nothing left out as far as our needs. The owner had told us there was WiFi and it had never been established. He showed up the following morning and made sure we had it . He was very pleasant and easy to talk with. Our stay was very enjoyable and the ducks very friendly...lol...they expected their bread daily. I would highly recommend this cabin. The views were spectacular and the cabin very comfy...Tammie and Kat
