Our family of eight adults spent five days at this wonderful old Victorian house. We were getting together to celebrate the end of our oldest son's year long stay in the Colorado Springs area. The house was exactly as it was advertised on the VRBO website. The owners were great to work with in preparing for our arrival. The home was very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the outdoor space was a great place to gather for a family cookout. It was so convenient for day trips to Canon City and Cripple Creek, and just a short walk to everything in Manitou Springs. This was the first trip for many of our family members to Colorado and we hope it won't be our last. Thanks for a memorable stay!
My family and I spent 4 days in the Manitou Springs at this rental property. We were a party of 6 adults and 3 children ages 18 months, 5 years, and 7 years. The house was very comfortable. Everyone had more than enough space, the kitchen was well-stocked and there were plenty of linens, towels, and blankets. We enjoyed BBQs on the patio, walking to the park down the street, walking to town for ice cream, and we walked to the library where there was a free concert on the lawn. There were also many hikes nearby with waterfalls, rivers, and nature centers for the kids.
My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon at this property. Really a clean, homey, and quaint house in a quiet neighborhood. Owner was pleasant to work with and made the rental process convenient and simple. We encountered wildlife, went sightseeing, and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and ambiance the home offered. In fact, we are planning our next stay!
I took my family of 10 to this house for vacation and it was a very neat place. Very nice very clean. amazing antique appointments. Parking is in back off street can park 2 vehicles easily. Owner was great. Can walk to shops down town.
This house is absolutely awesome. Is located in a good neighborhood, and is a close walk to town. All the amenities is there. Great parking in the back of the house (off the street). The owners are very nice and helpful. We decided at the last minute to rent a house for our little Colorado adventure, and Mr. Clark and Ms. Murray got everything cleared away and taken care of in no time and helped us have a beautiful place to stay with no delays. We enjoyed watching the "wildlife" outside the back door and windows as much as we enjoyed the mountains and Colorado experience. There was deer that came and ate from the neighbors back yard everyday and squirrel that frolicked and played everyday. There was black squirrel, which we had never seen before. Oh, and I would also like to mention that the place is pet friendly, which is a must for us. Our pets are like our children, and we can't leave them behind. Thanks again for the use of your lovely place. We did so much truly enjoy it, no complaints, and we would highly recommend to anyone.
We had a 5-sibling reunion in this sweet house and found it to be heavenly. It was beautifully furnished with antiques and updated with modern amenities, spacious and private, fun colors and very good vibes. The owner had thought of everything. Very comfortable and in a great location!
