TREASURE COVE is a Great Property you are literally on the Water, step out and Wide Open Views, Exterior Stereo, Chaise Lounges, Seating Area and BBQ Outside (we do not provide the gas). Fish from the Rock Sea-Wall.
Go Swimming, come back-in, with excellent fishing from the Property.
Regarding Fishing Licenses, they can be bought here at any Bait & Tackle Shop. If you are going to be Fishing from the Property, they are not necessary.
In addition, with the Property there is a 30 Ft. Dock within walking distance. We provide Water and Electricity Dockside. Parking for your Boat Trailer is provided at no additional charge on the Public Swales, space being available.
There is an adjoining Marina, where you will need to pay the Dock-Master, $10.00 to Launch, and $10.00 to recover your Boat.
Excellent Water Views from the Living Areas!!!!. In the Center of the Unit are the Living Areas; Living Room, Dining Room, and Kitchen.
There is One (1) Televisions with Satellite in Living Room, with a Wi-Fi Internet Environment through out the Property.
There is also a Pool, Not Heated, and Parking is in front of the Property.
This Unit is a One Bedroom, Queen Size Bed, One Bath, with an Open Space Kitchen Dining an Living Room Area looking out towards the Open Water.
The Couch in the Living Room folds out to a Single Bed.
The experience with us is a bit more Personal and Service Oriented, we will meet you on the Property upon arrival and get you settled-in and show you how everything works, the HVAC, the Stereos, Wi-Fi Network, Satellite T.V., the BBQ, Stove, the Range, and in-turn answer any questions you may have.
The Property is extremely peaceful, and quiet, along the Waterway you may even see some Manatees swimming by, lay in the Lounge Chairs, and hear the Coconut Palm frontons move in the breeze.
During the Day Ann and Her Husband, George, work their Crab Traps, they ride around on a 16Ft. Skiff, you cannot miss them, their boat has large Registration Numbers on the side. If you like Crabs, call them over, they will sell to you either Blue Crabs or Stone Crabs. And do not worry if you do not know how to clean them, Ann will even show you how.
Otherwise you can ask Ann for one of her Freshly Cooked Crab Platters, she will deliver it by Boat and serve it on the Beach.
Great Place also for Kayaks, to explore the shallow water inlets around or explore in the Sound. If you are interested in renting the Caribbean Club close-by offers Kayaks and Canoes for Rent and will bring them to the Property.
While in Downtown Key Largo, Boat Charters, and Fishing Trips are available.
Kayaks can be kept at the Property.
Markets and Shopping are less than 10Min. away, we provide Discount Cards for WINN-DIXIE one of the Local area Markets.
For Beaches, John Pennekamp a National Park, is 10 Min. away at MM 102, OCEAN SIDE (Left Side). Traveling South look for the Overhead Sign. Great Beaches, with snorkeling opportunities. there is also Group Fishing which is not expensive, or Snorkeling Trips to the Reefs a little off-shore.
There is also Harris Park at MM92.5. Here you have a Man-Made Lagoon with Beaches, and Playground, and Picnic areas. No admission is charged during the week.
Restaurants are within 7Min. Gilbert's and Buzzard's. And for Outdoor Entertainment at Gilbert's they have a Great Tikki Bar on the Water, with Music, daily.......
While Sundowner's is about 12Min. away, Great Outdoor Gourmet Dining with Excellent views of the Sunset. And Senor Frijoles is next door, with Outdoor Dining also, Tex-Mex Food and Excellent Margaritas...
And in Downtown Key Largo, Mrs. Mac's Kitchen is a favorite Breakfast spot.
There are many Brochures in the home which will guide you to other destinations.

Theater of the Sea, This is where you can have the opportunity to swim with the Dolphins or the Sea-Lions, this is a Theme Park, with shows with Dolphins and Sea-Lions, snorkeling trips, Glass Bottom Boat excursions etc., etc.........
Key Largo, Florida Chamber of Commerce, This is the Chamber of Commerce site, of which we are a Member of and does offer a myriad of endless possibilities depending on your interests. Group Fishing, snorkeling, restaurants, and other destinations. This is the site we recommend, to explore Boat Rentals and Charters.
To belong to the Chamber, vendors need to have some basic credentials and reputation.
If you are Renting a Boat in advance, we recommend photographs be provided with your Agreement, and as part of your Agreement should be included, if the Boat Photographed is your Boat, if not available upon your arrival, you reserve the right to cancel, if you do not approve of the alternate Boat being offered.
Very important also, will be for you to look at whats the breakdown policy if at sea. (i.e. Towing and response time, replacement boat, etc.) It also may be easier for you to have the Boat delivered to the Property, the majority of these vendors will trailer and recover the Boat from your Property. This alleviates you from having to Navigate through unknown waters, and canals.
From the Chamber of Commerce, is where we get the Brochures, we keep at the Property.
We recommend you book in advance for any feature destination in the Keys, as there are often discount offers for 'in-advance' reservations. And with items like swimming with the Dolphins or Sea-Lions at Theater of the Sea, they book quite in advance, due to the demand.

Thanks Nestor, quite enjoyed my stay there but still too short. There was still too much winter left when I got home. Today sunny and 37 deg, nice spring day.
That location is so nice, sunrise over the water every day.
What a wonderful vacation we had in this little piece of paradise. The property is just as stated. Nestor was very attentive to everything making sure our stay was perfect. We could not have wished for a better spot to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We cannot wait to come back. The location is perfect, very quiet spot right on the water. Loved fishing, and exploring. The camper was great! Very comfortable, especially the bed. No hotel could ever compare to this slice of heaven. Nestor, we would personally like to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL AND RELAXING TIME! Until we meet again.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this vacation rental. It was very clean and secure, the bed is super comfortable and you really have everything you need as far as food prep right there in your kitchen. Plus the water-front is so relaxing you may not want to leave and go out. Nestor (the property's contact person) was readily available for questions. We would highly recommend.
We rented Treasure Cove for a short getaway the first week of November. The promise of a relaxing trip from NJ to FL was in the cards. We flew into Ft. Lauderdale late & spent an overnight there. I did some staple shopping early, ate breakfast poolside then headed south. Our hosts, Nestor & Sveta were quite accommodating with our arrival and departure times. Any concern about our son being “bored” for our 5 day trip immediately dissolved when we pulled up to our accommodation. We rented fishing poles with the intention of the “boys” fishing all day & me reading (books & on my iPad-which was always fine with the wifi !) in a chair waterfront. For 5 days, we did exactly that. I enjoy cooking- actually LOVE to cook, so the plan was to cook and grill our catches, but just in case, I researched on local restaurants. We picked up some stone crabs claws & shrimp out on the Overseas Highway and enjoyed Happy Hour cocktails (& mock-tails) nightly. We were even lucky enough to get to open a coconut from the on-site tree to add to our frozen drinks (made with a powerful blender included) and grill the meat on the outdoor grill. We used the grill every night- it turned out that while we INTENDED to eat out a few times, we never wanted to actually leave the site. We did venture out our last night for some local charm at Gilberts Tiki Bar- but ate all of our meals prepared at Treasure Cove.Our accommodations were perfect. As we spent nearly every waking moment outdoors (such a nice treat for us New Jerseyans in November !)- we underutilized the comfy indoors. The bed was comfy and our son enjoyed the water view from his sofa bed. The cleaning fee was worth every penny; Sveta does an amazing job keeping everything spotless!! The views from indoors was gorgeous. We ate all of our meals outdoors. The unit was well appointed with everything a home cook could want- plenty of pots, pans, dishes, flatware, etc. We did wander over to the pool one day when there was a lull in the fishing. One day, the weather was very overcast & windy- this day wound up being the best fishing day. We caught well over 30 fish from our site. I can not say enough about our host Nestor. His goal is to ensure your vacation is all that you hope for. He surpassed every expectation- always available & helpful if needed. We loved every minute of our stay and expect to contact him next year for a longer visit. Thank you for the courtesy of working around our times & for the prompt return of our deposit.
