Our family waterfront cottage is located on a private lane with only four other properties. Our property sits on the beautiful shores of Lake Consecon and is surrounded by mature trees with a small creek located on the east side, which attracts the abundant wildlife in the area. This peaceful spot truly is a nature lover's paradise!

For weekly renters we include linen service for the 3 Queen size beds that will be made up before check in

Lake Consecon is a very clean, springfed lake that is approximately 1 km wide by 9 km long. The lake offers fishing for bass, pike and pickerel. We offer a boat and motor for people to take advantage of the great fishing or simply take the family out on a tour of the lake (qualified boaters only). We also offer a canoe to take a relaxing paddle out on the lake. If you choose to bring your own boat, we offer a boat cradle at our dock for safe mooring.

On our property, the water is shallow with a sandy bottom, which gradually gets deeper as you go out, which makes it ideal for kids; but please bring life jackets for the children as only adult sizes are provided.

At night, enjoy relaxing by a camp fire and roasting marshmallows with the family.

We welcome your well behaved pet.

About Brad

While at the cottage, we enjoy fishing, swimming and relaxing on the sun deck. My wife and I like to take our bikes out for a nice ride on the Millennium Trail. We also enjoy packing a cooler and going to the beach. Since we're both nature lovers, our cottage is ideal for bird watching and other wildlife viewing (deer, rabbits, chipmunks). We enjoy dining at Portabella restaurant in Picton or The Devonshire which is located in Wellington.

Brad purchased this cottage in 2004

We stayed at Brad's cottage 2 times, once in the summer and once in the fall. I have been renting cottages for 15 years now and this is the first cottage I have ever gone back too. For one thing Brad is a great guy to deal with. The cottage is very clean ,the beds are all comfortable which is important to us because When you are on vacation you definately want to be sleeping well. Love the big picture window. My family and I really liked this cottage because not only do you get to be right on the water but there are so many other places to explore in the area which add to the whole stay. Brad is more than accommodating in pointing out these places and giving great directions for any sight seeing . The first time we stayed there my son was younger and he pretty much played in the creek right beside the cottage all day long catching frogs and having fun. The lake is clean and is fantastic for young children. Would definately go back again! Cheers!

More than we dreamed for!

Mt partner, our dog and I stayed at Brad's cottage for a total of 10 days in April. What a beautiful stay we had! The cottage was clean and cozy with 3 bedrooms (lots of mystery books), a lovely kitchen full with supplies. The living room had a super comfortable pull out futon under the huge window that overlooked the lake. We stayed up late watching the stars, and in the morning there were always beautiful swan and baby birds swimming in the lake nearby. The lake is full of all sorts of birds, incredible for bird watchers!

The lake is crystal clear and there is a long dock that we sat on in the mornings to have our coffee. We had a big fire some evenings and enjoyed every moment. We also got lucky with the weather - tanning in the beginning of April!! The neighbors are a fair distance away, and they were friendly and kind, and everyone respects the privacy of others.

When we had questions, Brad was always quick to respond and was always kind and helpful. The property is well kept, the whole experience blew us away, and we would definitely stay there again in a flash!

Beau petit chalet sur le bord du lac, tout était parfait à l'exception des tapis dans le salon et les chambres. Ils sont selon moi à changer.Nous avons été la en semaine donc nous étions seuls dans notre petite rue, très tranquille.

Just Fabulous !!

We just loved our vacation renting this affordable cottage. The location is superb, the cottage is clean and spacious, our family of 5 fitted comfortably in this wonderful summer house. The lake is calm, shallow, warm and clean, our children were safe and happy swimming in it. Would definitely go back. The scenery in this area is awesome, people are friendly and it is so close to the beautiful beaches of Sandbanks.

Absolutely loved it.. all of us !!
