The complex, Alii Cove is the newest high-end condominium on Alii Drive. The complex has many amenities including, a resort style swimming pool, workout gym, gas BBQs and gated entrance.
But, you won’t want to spend all your time around the complex. Honl’s Beach is conveniently located across the street. Honl’s Beach is famous for great for surfing, swimming or just watching the sunset.
Make time to visit the local Farmer’s market in town for local grown fruits, flowers and gifts. Tour the historic Hulihee Palace where the Kings and Queens spent their summers. Or, walk to the pier to see the Billfish Tournament’s catch of the day or simply gaze into the crystal clear blue water to look for reef fish.
When you have explored town, jump in your car and drive around the island. Visit an active Volcano or the Mauna Kea Observatory. Go horseback riding, hiking, explore beaches, sunbath, shell, surf, snorkel or swim on the beautiful Hawaiian beaches. World class golfing and tennis is also located nearby.

We bought this condominium because of it's ocean view. We have sat on the lanai watching the surfers, whales and visiting cruise lines. We have even spotted a green flash or two when the sun goes down. We play tennis nearby and love to walk to town in the evening.
The condominium is spacious and outfitted with everything you might need to enjoy your stay.
My husband and his friend stayed for 10 days in this condo during the Ironman Kona 2013. They found the unit perfect for their needs - spacious, comfortable beds, and ideally situated to the Ironman start.
It was an easy 10-12 minute walk to the start/registration area. The complex was nice and quiet, with the unit being set back from the busy Alii Drive. The view is exactly as you see in the picture! Also great to have a pool on site to be able to cool off.
The unit itself was clean & well appointed, with full kitchen including dishwasher that made self catering easy. Also close proximity to good restaurants/pubs within easy walking distance if you didn't want to cook at home. Having the washing machine/dryer combo was great to be able to wash all their training gear.
There is aircon in the central living area's and fans in the bedrooms, which make the Kona heat bearable.
The free wifi is a bonus.
Would recommend this unit for anyone doing Ironman Kona, or just looking for a very comfortable, convenient location for a Kona holiday.
We have been very fortunate with our selection of conds for all of our trips, and this condo is no exception to that. Upon arriving and walking in, the view is spectacular. The pictures of this condo are right on. The furniture is comfortable, the kitchen is well equiped, the rooms are spacious and of course, not to mention the view again, but the view is gorgeous. Watching dolphins, whales and even the cruise ships from the lanai is exciting. The pool is great; it's just beautiful and so well maintained, as are the grounds. We met so many nice people, many of whom are owners. The beautiful town of Kailua-Kona is within walking distance, with wonderful shops and restaurants. In fact, walking was our preferred method of transportation unless we wanted to travel around the island, We stayed here for 3 months. I wish it could have been longer. Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your condo and call it home for 3 great months.
