|Minimum Stay||2 - 3 nights|
Neptune's Nest is an affordable and well cared for two story home that will sleep 4-6 people. The home has two bedrooms each with queen beds, as well as two window alcove sleeping areas and a futon suitable for kids. Other amenities include a fully furnished kitchen, 1 1/2 bath, Livingroom with flatscreen TV/DVD.
Located in a quiet neighborhood, this comfortable home works well for those looking to get away from it all at a great price. Come and relax on the deck with a cold beverage while watching our neighborhood deer meander through our backyard! Or, take a five minute walk into town to shop or eat. Yachats Ocean Rd is located just across the street and is the nearest sandy beach access - again just another five minute walk from the house.
The neighborhood pool, hot tub and tennis courts are open and available seasonally Memorial Day through Labor Day.
This place has become a home away from home. Our stay here has become an annual ritual that is one of the highlights of the year!
Though it was extremely rainy the three days I spent in Yachats, the home was comfortable and wonderful shelter from the lousy weather. Nice deck but unusable with the stormy conditions. Roomy but rather dated. A few touches could bring this up to speed rather easily and inexpensively. Essentials were there, but I needed to bring bath soap (which I already had in my shaving kit). No wood for the wood stove, but a store was just a few blocks away.
Our family enjoyed our stay her over Labor Day weekend. It was a nice quiet neibirhood. We loved the added bonus of having a pool and hot tub. It was nice and clean and had everything we would need for our stay.
The only recommendation I would give is to update the blankets for the beds although I loved how there was plenty of beds so everyone could have their own beds:)
The family did complain about the wifi more so the kids because it was very slow and not working at times but overall we really enjoyed your house:)
Well laid out house especially those with children. The window seats made great beds and the kids loved the idea. There was a nook under the staircase that really sparked the kid's imagination. It was everything from the "divas" dressing room to the "man cave" for the boys. The kitchen was very well equipped to make great meals. The house was very clean.
Was disappointed in the pool hours. 2-5. We were touring at those hours. Was hoping to be able to use the pool before bedtime.
These was no bath soap or washcloths. Need extra towels if you plan to use the pool. '
Wi-fi was VERY slow.
Need to update the blankets and pillows.
Very nice, clean, comfortable and a "at" home feeling. We really enjoyed our stay and was close to the water that it was a nice walk in the evenings.
A great quiet and peaceful location. Our kids loved the pool and we often had it to ourselves. The beach and tide pools were a short 5 minute walk away.
We recently spent four nights at the Neptune in Yachats, Or. We had a great stay, to say the least. The home was plenty big, roomy and had good assortment of furnishings for relaxing and entertaining some guests. The location was excellent as we could easily walk into the city of Yachats or go to the beach which is even closer. The house has great mountain views, yet quite close to the ocean. The kitchen is large and has all you need to cook a large meal. Lots of pots and pans and dishes to cover all your needs. The home is located in an extremely quiet location and very well kept neighborhood.
The internet is a bit slow and cell phone service is always at bit spotty on the central Oregon coast but, this is a beautiful location and a great vacation home.
