Authentic Texas ranch perfect for group gatherings! Beautiful, spacious, and relaxing
The ranch was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our large group. We thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the river, observing the exotic animals, and hiking the ranch. The house is perfect for large groups with multiple seating areas and a full kitchen for cooking your meals. Highly recommend to groups that are seeking a restful retreat on a Texas ranch.
Great place for a retreat
We loved this place for our retreat. Plenty of beds, plenty of space to gather, and beautiful environment. We'll definitely be back. Eric, the ranch hand, was incredibly helpful.
Privacy on the road ver
Great place to stay with large group or multiple families. Plenty of room with 3 living areas so great to divide if have several families. Beds were comfortable and all the amenities are at your fingertips. The river access with deep swimming hole is 75 steps down from the house and has plenty of lighting for access up to dark. The golf cart also provided easy access to shallow area with rapids for the little kids to enjoy. Best part is the outdoor patio areas to enjoy your morning coffee and your evening cocktails. Cathy was a pleasure to work with and Eric was on site to assist with any additional needs or questions.
WE LOVED IT
This house is all it says it is and more. Eric was awesome. He was always around but we never knew it. He was really great. The river was down a little but it was still a wonderful place to stay. There was 15 of us total. We would recommend it to everyone. More than enough room and close enough to town. It was just great. We fully intend to return.
The Venters, Kittles, Baker and Parker
We wish we could have stayed longer! We enjoyed everything about the property. The swimming was amazing. If you are a family that likes seclusion, this is perfect!
Remarkable river reunion
Distance from Houston almost scared us off. So glad it didn't, 'cause it as so worth the drive! The house is big enough for our family to spread out and be together. Well-supplied kitchen and bath/bed rooms. Bedrooms and baths a bit tight and a few mattresses could used replacing. Even though the river was down some, still plenty for fun and refreshing. Clearest water even. Big kids enjoyed exploring caves. But the crowining jewel is Eric the ranch manager. He was available, competent and friendly.
