The home is a historic craftsman bungalow that is located at the exact center of the Flagstaff Universe. The unique floor plan is spacious, airy, and light-filled with two large bedrooms and 2 ½ baths. The home has been renovated without compromising the architectural details of the period. Other interior spaces include a large living room, dining room, sun room, and office. The open kitchen forms the hub of the house and is cook-friendly and well appointed with everything you need to entertain guests. The bedrooms have uber-comfortable queen and king sized beds with upgraded linens.
The large tree-filled yard is a perfect place to enjoy outdoor Flagstaff. Relax in a hammock-for-two while viewing the peaks.
The home is located on tree-lined West Cherry Avenue in the heart of downtown. Walk to shopping and many of Flagstaff’s best restaurants and bars. Walk to the Observatory on Mars Hill, Disc Golf in Thorpe Park, or the weekly Farmer’s Market in Wheeler Park. Ride or Walk the Urban Trail – catch it a half a block from the front door.
This is a perfect vacation base camp for visiting Northern Arizona’s attractions -- the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Wupatki, Walnut Canyon, Meteor Crater, Sunset Crater, the San Francisco Peaks, or Snowbowl.

We are native Arizonans who live and work in Tucson and play and relax in Flagstaff.
The Owner purchased this house in 2009
We picked Flagstaff to enjoy its four seasons and the multitude of outdoor activities it offers. We picked Downtown Flagstaff to give us the opportunity to leave our car behind and walk or bicycle everywhere.
We can stroll to great restaurants, fun bars, and unique shops. We are close to great downtown activities – First Friday Art Walk, the Farmer’s Market, and Free Movies in Heritage Square, to name a few. We are a very short walk, run, or ride via the Urban Trail to miles of National Forest. We really are located at the center of the Flagstaff Universe.
This was our third year staying in this beautiful Cherry Street Bungalow. We have 2 kids (4 and 6 yrs old) and absolutely love this charming house. My favorite is the backyard and hammock. Private and lushly landscaped. Fenced in for kids to play with out worries. Kids love the sun room to play puzzles and enjoy having breakfast, lunch and dinner on back patio! Our daughter feels so special in a darling bedroom that is perfect for her with a skylight and her own private bathroom. My husband enjoys the proximity to downtown and walking to all the great restaurants and shops. We hope to visit again next year.
I recently met my brother and sister here for a long weekend together and it was perfect in every way. I live in a historic house and was enchanted by the beauty, comfort and style of this "cottage". The whole property is spotless, very well appointed, and perfectly situated whether you are looking to head out for adventure or simply relax. We walked to dinner, the farmers market, Art March and a local festival. We also cooked and barbecued. There are plenty of books, games and movies, instructions and information for everything. Tim and Nancy were a pleasure to work with. I am definitely coming back.
Our family of 4 (including 2 teenagers) rented this historic home June 2015 and was blown away with how perfect is was. We immediately felt at home. The house is very well stocked with everything you can imagine. It's the small details like comfortable beds, extra pillows, fluffy towels and soft toilet paper that score big with me. Downtown is a few steps away. Grocery stores are nearby. We never used our rental car exploring all of downtown. Our only complaint was, we didn't want to leave! We are an active family and had many adventures in and around Flagstaff. We went to the South Rim of Grand Canyon 2 days (located 1 1/2 hour from house). We used one day to rent ATV's in Sedona (45 minutes from house) and explored miles and miles of dirt trails. So much fun! We dedicated another full day in Page, AZ (2 hrs from house). We rented a boat on Lake Powell. Breathtaking scenery for many miles. We docked the boat midday and booked the Lower Antelope Canyon tour and that was a stunning experience. On our way back to the house, we stopped at Horseshoe Bend for sunset. Another day we drove 40 minutes from house to explore Lava River Cave. Very creepy, but cool. It's 3/4 mile long and 34 degrees year round. Walnut Canyon was a neat experience to hike and see cliff dwellings. After our early mornings and long days, we always looked forward to going home to our cute bungalow for the evening. We have stayed in many VRBO's through the years and this one far exceeds any of them! Highly recommend this place! The owners are very sweet. You will not be disappointed.
This is simply the best VRBO I have done. The pictures actually do not do the place. It is an older home, that has obviously received wonderful care. The owners have stocked the kitchen better, than any other property I have rented. Well beyond the basics, including spices, etc. The owners were extraordinarily responsive to my questions and usually responded within hours. This included the day before arrival with numerous restaurant recommends. (They do have a book with numerous menus in the house as well). I would return to this house in a heart beat!!
Absolutely loved our stay! This house is so charming and cozy! It was just perfect for my daughter's graduation weekend. The beds were awesome, as were the amenities and well equipped kitchen. Tim and Nancy were very accommodating and have obviously put a lot of effort into making their home comfortable and inviting! Looking forward to our next visit!
"Standing O" to the owners, who are extremely helpful and friendly. I can't express how accommodating they were for us. They gave us travel ideas which have changed our lives and given us lifelong memories.
Walking distance to downtown Flag was just one of the many assets of this home.
It was so well equipped and comfortable, it was very hard for us to leave.
We felt like we were staying in a luxury home, not just another "property".
Even our teenage kids noticed all the attention to detail that is put into this home.
We'll be back!
