Cottage/studio style, newly renovated with granite countertops, granite shower enclosure, beautiful wood floors overlooking the ocean. Wake up to the fishing boats, lobster and scallop boats leaving the shore. Relax and unwind. Top of the line sleeper sofa with press of a button blow up mattress.
Wow, what an amazing place!! As soon as we arrived we realized we should have booked it for longer. The cottage was beautifully done and very cozy. The morning breeze off the water, the sound of boats and seagulls was absolute perfection. Had my coffee each morning on the deck overlooking the water. They have a big hammock in the yard we spent a lot of our time in. We were a little concerned about sleeping on a pullout sofa bed but it was incredibly comfortable with the memory foam topper they provided. Amy and Dan were so very friendly and welcoming! We're already looking at dates for when we get back there. It was a perfect relaxing and quiet vacation spot for 2!
This is a well kept beautiful cottage on the coast of Maine in a lovely setting. Sitting on the deck with coffee watching the lobster boats and ducks was heavenly. We loved that they are dog friendly and Amy and Dan, the owners, were delightful. It is really the size of an efficiency apartment and for just a few days, it was fine for us but it might be a bit small for a longer stay.
My husband and I are currently living in Kansas, and had never been to Maine. I found this and the moment we arrived, we were so thrilled! We love to grill and have fires at home, so this was perfect! We had beautiful weather as well! We were so close to everything, we made day trips to Camden as well as BoothBay. We loved the kitchen and all of the amenities! Watching the lobster boats out on the ocean, hanging out on the deck and down by the fire pit in the evenings, it was fantastic! If we ever make it back to Maine, we will stay here!!
Comfortable, cozy well furnished cottage for my week in Maine. Sunrise and sunset from the deck and picture windows are unforgettable! Just 50 min from Portland and close to coastal towns but secluded enough for restful relaxation. Can't wait to return next summer!
We stayed in this cottage for our anniversary and spent a lot of time travelling throughout the area. The cottage is on a fairly private street. It is clean and well maintained. We did not sleep on the sofa/air bed or use the linens as we have our own that we prefer to travel with. I would imagine this is something you definitely need to consider, especially if you're a picky sleeper, like me. ;)
The owners were very accommodating and helpful.
We ate at the Dolphin as recommended by the owners and we enjoyed it very much. My husband especially enjoyed the blueberry muffins! It's also a great place to take in the sunset.
This cottage is in a scenic, peaceful area so perfect if you want to get away from it all and still be on the waterfront. Please make sure you are OK with an inflatable bed. I must've overlooked that in the property description. While it was comfy enough for a night or two, I wouldn't recommend it for a week-long vacation OR if one or both of you are on the burly side. Most all amenities are there you'd need and firepit, grill a nice addition. Minor cons were the shampoo ran out our last day, the handtowel ring fell off the wall & the hair dryer was coated in some sticky goo I couldn't wash off. I used a washcloth around the handle to get around that. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots n pans etc. Groceries, wine, & restaurants nearby.
95 Clark Shore is on the water, quiet street with only 2 other homes past ours. Plenty of parking. Kayak rentals available. Fire pit, hammock and plenty of ducks and lobster boats going by. Close to downtown Brunswick and a dog friendly beach nearby.
