Farmhouse, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 1-2)
I live in San Francisco with my husband and two daughters: ages 14 and 17. We bought this house ten years ago so that the girls could appreciate the great outdoors, learn to bike and hike and spend time catching fish in the creek. It has been a cherished part of our life. St. Helena is truly magical, and this house is on the most special property, an old Indian reservation, with a gorgeous garden and spectacular beauty that surrounds it.

Napa Valley Paradise
This is such a great charming cottage. Very private with your own little courtyard filled with roses, hydrangeas, rosemary bush and a lemon tree. Close to St. Helena and other Napa Valley destinations. The homeowner, Faith, could not have been more helpful with winery, restaurant and shopping recommendations. I highly recommend it as a romantic getaway.
The perfect secluded romantic getaway
This is the perfect romantic getaway, less than a mile from downtown St. Helena, but worlds away from the crowds. It is secluded, quiet, private, and very scenic. The cottage separate from the main house includes everything you might need, and you will feel like you have your own house. Enjoy the peaceful outdoor patio area surrounded by lush vegetation. Don't feel like visiting downtown? Head the other direction, up the hill, and take in Pride Mountain Vineyard and other varied wineries up Spring MountainRoad. Faith was great in providing lots of recommendations both before and after our arrival, and she will take great care of you!
Secret Garden Oasis
This cottage is the absolute PERFECT place to stay in every way!! Not only is the owner incredibly generous and responsive, she will give you the most amazing recommendations of things to do in the area. This was our first visit to the Napa area and I would absolutely stay here over a hotel any day. The cottage is private, quiet, and close to everything in St Helena that you could possibly want to do. It is perfect for a couple on a romantic getaway, you can sit up on the hill overlooking the vineyards and have some wine or relax on the outdoor patio. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.
Beautiful and Convenient...
The cottage is ideally located: walking/biking distance from downtown St. Helena which includes cute shops, great restaurants and a couple grocery stores. Not only that, the property is beautifully landscaped and has a rustic charm. The full kitchen and charcoal grill made staying in for a home cooked meal and bottle of vino easy! The cottage is also a quick drive from some of the most picturesque vineyards on Spring Mountain...be sure to get to Pride Mountain and Barnett Vineyards, you will not be disappointed!
Also, the property owner is great, very accessible and provides great recommendations.
great location and cozy
So close to town and wonderful access to everything. Enjoyed use of bikes. Keep in mind that bathroom is downstairs and they are steep. Location and other amentities make up for slight inconvenience.
Cute, Secluded Cottage Escape
For a quick solo trip to St Helena to attend a wedding I wanted to avoid the overpriced hotels, which I found quite unimpressive. I chose this quiet little cottage on the edge of town. What a delight. I loved sleeping with the windows open in the upstairs bedroom, hearing the stream running across the road, and awakening to birds singing as my alarm clock. The smell of the jasmine blooming outside and fresh air filled the room to complete the serene experience.
The cottage comes equipped with everything you might need for a complete stay, like your own little apartment. The grounds are lovely in June, with several choices for outdoor workout, dining and relaxation.
The Napa and Sonoma County areas offer much more than the Vintner experience also. I was able to make quick trips to the Petrified Forest and the Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve, which has a beautiful day hike.
I look forward to a return visit!
winetasting, art galleries, fantastic restaurants, gorgeous hiking and biking, swimming, tennis and hot-tubbing at the club nearby
