The MASTER SUITE w/SITTING ROOM is furnished with a king size bed, ceiling fan, Flat Screen TV, DVD player. Relax on the private master suite lanai and enjoy your morning coffee while the sun rises. Catch up on your reading on the love seat in the master suite SITTING ROOM which also has a desk for your computer and writing needs. After a fun day playing in the sun you can enjoy soaking in a nice Jacuzzi bath in the oversize master suite tub. We live in Seattle Washington and have been traveling to the Big Island for about 20 years for our vacations. We have been other places but this definitely is where we want to end up.

We love our family and always wanted a place to share with them and make great family memories for years and years to come. Mauna Lani is a wonderful resort and is so immaculately cared for that we can't imagine being anywhere else.

We enjoy having walking distance to fine restaurants, shops and the ocean.

Fantastic Week on the Big Island

My wife and I have been coming to the Big Island for 20 years and have always stayed at resorts along the Kohala Coast but decided to try a condo this trip and it has been fantastic. The Fairways 1704 has been amazing - quiet, terrific location, very nicely appointed and has everything you need to be comfortable and have fun. The unit is in great condition and very well taken care of. The kitchen has everything you can think of if you want to cook, grill, bake or just keep things simple.

So nice to have parking a few feet away instead of hiking to a garage or distant parking lot. We’ve slept so well in king bed in the spacious master suite with sitting area and private Lanai. We have enjoyed high speed internet access, cable with Netflix and some movies that are part of the DVD library here at the unit. We totally should have done this when we had kids still along but it was a real treat to have the place to ourselves.

Mauna Lani is a really nice community with so much to do and experience here. We have enjoyed the private beach access and the ability to easily come and go as we please and there is private parking right there. The unit has boogie boards and snorkeling equipment so you don’t have to rent it when you go to the ocean here or at other locations. We have also enjoyed visiting the Mauna Lani and Fairmont Orchid hotels. The shops at Mauna Lani are literally just down the street from the Fairways so a short 10-12 minute walk or ½ mile drive to a nice local grocery store, restaurants and evening entertainment. We went to the Hula & Fire Dance last night and it was really fun and at no cost.

We have loved our seven night stay here and are already looking forward to coming back!

Great base for Big Island Adventures.

My wife and I had a great stay at this place. Well maintained and appointed for an active Hawaiian trip. We snorkeled right off the private access beach. Cooked several dinners on our lanai. Nice private access pool a few steps from our back door. Amelia has all the stuff you need to have a great day at the beach. Local grocer just down the road. Also nice dining and drinks very close by plus shopping...the whole package. Friendly, communicative and accommodating host. We'll be back for sure!!

Nice, spacious townhome in Mauni Lani

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely townhome. It's large enough for two couples or a small family. The kitchen is well outfitted and the bedrooms comfortable. There is a nice but small patio off the dining room and a small lanai upstairs off the master bedroom. There were plenty of beach towels, one adult boogie board, and one child boogie board, beach chairs, and a beach cooler. Everything you need for a day at the beach. Be aware you cannot walk to the beach from the townhome. You will need a car. But it's in a convenient location for exploring the Kohala Coast.

Chef's dream kitchen in Hawaiian paradise

We have stayed at three different Fairways condos over the years and this is the best. The condo is quiet and very clean. The kitchen is spacious and has tons of dishes and equipment in case you like to cook for your family. We like to go to the farmers markets in Waimea or Hilo on Saturdays and we enjoy the produce all week. There is also a good fish market nearby in Kawaihae. . The grocery is just a few blocks away. Lots of beach toys and dishes for small children. Comfortable bed and good WiFi.

Amelia, our owner, was easy to work with and took care of everything for us.

The Fairways at Mauna Lani development is such a convenient location to visit all of the Big Island.

Wonderful Townhome!

My husband and I rented Amelia's townhouse for a week. It was very clean and comfortable. It was extremely convenient to everywhere we went in West Hawaii and is in one of the nicest parts of the island. The development's pool and beach club were terrific. We enjoyed the boogie boards provided by Amelia. If you snorkel, you might want to rent (very reasonably-priced) equipment from Snorkel Bob's up the road (which we did) since it tended to fit better than the equipment at Amelia's. Amelia included a list of places and their general locations in an info book for renters, which was helpful and contained good suggestions of nearby restaurants, shops, and beaches. Although it was very hot the week we were there, the air conditioning (which we usually had at 75 degrees while we were in the condo) and fans kept the condo cool. Amelia and her husband were very responsive to minor questions/concerns that arose while we were there. We would recommend their townhouse and would happily stay there again. If you stay there or in the vicinity, check out the beautiful nearby beaches! If you enjoy brunch, the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel and Bungalows has a wonderful brunch that is reasonably priced for the quality.
