Robert we loved your beautiful home.We certainly appreciate you providing your guset with all the amenities and more that we could ever want in a vacaton home.Thank You
One of many girlfriends trips over the years with our group of 8, and we all agreed that this was our favorite beach house ever! The bedrooms were very comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked and large enough for multiple people to use at the same time, and the living space was huge and accommodating. We never felt crowded or cramped. We loved the large garage, and having the ice maker and extra refrigerator was super nice. Weather prevented us from enjoying the decks and beach except for one day, coupled with the fact that we volunteered for the Sea Island Habitat for Humanity Women Build project for two of the days we were there. The owners were awesome to communicate with and committed to ensuring we had an enjoyable stay. We have vowed that we will return to IOP just so we can stay in this house again. Super clean, super nice, great location!
This is our second occasion to stay in this beautiful home. The common areas are open and nicely furnished. It has a large kitchen, and everything you need is available for cooking in, if that's what you want to do in a place that is home to some of the most outstanding restaurants in the country. There is great outdoor space in two separate covered patios and an upstairs deck with a beautiful view of the ocean. The master suite is spacious and relaxing. The elevator is a godsend for loading and unloading baggage on move in/move out day. It is an easy block and a half walk to the beach. We stayed there with our family of twelve, including two infants. Baby's Away of Charleston had all the baby rental equipment we needed. It was a great week, and the owner has always been extremely prompt and kind in responding to any questions I had about the property. We love staying on the Isle of Palms, where we feel we have the best of both worlds in the beautiful beach and the easy access to the great city of Charleston. Will definitely be returning to this property, as it feels like our home away from home.
We just returned from our third time staying in this lovely home. We are two families with college age kids-a total of nine. There was plenty of room for everyone. The house is beautifully decorated in peaceful tones of blue and green and was spotless. The beds and the bedding are all high quality and comfortable. We love the large kitchen which is fully equipped to prepare all meals. We spent many mornings on the deck off of the kitchen enjoying coffee and listening to the ocean which is 2 blocks away. Our afternoons were spent on the beach where we enjoyed our rented beach chairs and umbrellas. There is always a breeze. We love the proximity to Charleston which we visited for shopping and lunch one day and a sunset cruise and dinner on another day. We had a great dinner at the Boathouse on IOP and lunch at Poe's on Sullivan's. The men all went fishing one morning with a guide so we had a delicious local fish dinner at home one night. The owner of this home is very responsive and easy to work with. We can't wait until our next vacation at this beach house!
Our three-generation family of six adults and three toddlers had an awesome time. The clean and beautifully furnished house had a perfect lay-out to accommodate our family. Just steps from the beach, the ocean breeze kept us cool in July. The local golf courses were great.
Our family wants to discontinue our change of location every year and return next year.
We booked a one week stay for our extended family (3 kids 1-5 yrs), plus my brother and his wife, and my parents. This house had everything we needed and much, much more. It is a beautiful, luxurious home, and all of us truly enjoyed our stay.
We spent a lot of time of the beach. The house is just two blocks away from the beach, and since the house is about a mile away from the main public beach on IOP, there was not much of a crowd. There were a lot of beach toys plus two carts to haul them - I wish I had known and I wouldn't have packed our own.
The kitchen had every utensil that we needed to cook, and there was plenty of space for all of our family to share meals inside and out.
The elevator was very helpful, especially for our arrival and departure days.
We had no issues with our stay, and the home owner was very responsive leading up to our stay.
We would definately stay in this house again.
Our family enjoyed a wonderful time during the week we stayed in Isle of Palms.
Your beautiful home was just as you described. All three generations of our
family love the beach and this beach was perfect. The surrounding homes and the
plants, flowers, and landscaping impressed all of us--even the children
commented on this--which to me is amazing because three of the four children are
boys between the ages of eight and thirteen and I was not aware that they
noticed or were impressed by anything other than sports or electronic gizmos.
Thank you so much for sharing your family's home with us. This was truly a
vacation that we will remember. I also want to thank you personally for your quick response to questions--it was not hard to see that you wanted to make sure that we enjoyed our stay.
P.S. You could probably make a good living if you rented or sold the beach
carts. Many people asked about them.
