Beautiful, newly renovated, historic home with a view of pristine Crystal Lake. Only one block to Crystal Lake public beach and downtown Beulah. The Betsie Valley Trail, a 22 mile bike and hike trail from Thompsonville to Frankfort, runs right through town. Many shops and restaurants a short walk away (one block).
Beulah is the perfect location for your vacation. Beulah is approximately 30 minutes to Traverse City, 10 minutes to Lake Michigan and the quaint town of Frankfort and 10 minutes to Crystal Mountain which offers hiking, golfing, children's water park, etc. in the summer and downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, etc. in the winter.

We came up for a weekend getaway and found the rental house to be what we were looking for without breaking the bank. A lot of rental places were charging too much! It was within walking distance of Crystal Lake, which was beautiful. We rode our bikes to Frankfort one day, which was fun! Great area to be in with lots to do within a short drive.
The owners were nice, easy to work with. The house is in a great location, but needs some TLC both inside and out. We were surprised that many windows would not open, so we had to rely on the fans that were available. Also, a few of the doors would not close properly. Although the listing says that the home sleeps 7-12, it really only sleeps 7 comfortably. There is a fire pit in the yard that we enjoyed. Nice view of the lake. We loved that it was so close to so many things in the area. Traveled to Frankfort (10 minutes away), Glen Arbor, Sleeping Bear Dunes.
LOVED Crystal Lake - house was very convenient (1 block away from 5 Corners, down a steep hill if you go 1 way or a gradual incline if you go the other). July 4th parade + race + fireworks very convenient to house (just 1 house away). Right by the antique store. Owners were very nice to work with! House is older (as all houses are around there), no air conditioning, but fan worked well. Bring slippers to wear in house. Firepit outside was fun to make S'mores - could hear jazz band Thursday evening in Beulah's concert in the park while sitting around the fire pit. House looks exactly like it's shown in the pictures. There's 2 bedrooms downstairs with 2 small full baths + 1 small bedroom upstairs with 1/2 bath. No closet space / drawers in 2nd bedroom downstairs, so we had to live out of our suitcases in our room. Medium-sized kitchen - 1/2 size dishwasher, but we used paper plates/cups/plastic utensils. Washer and dryer available in basement. 1 TV in front room with cable + landline available to use to connect to internet. Owners were very nice and available if needed.
RECOMMENDED ACTIVITIES: ride bike from Beulah to Frankfort/Lake Michigan (approx 1 1/4 hours on gravel/paved roads - beautiful bike ride - I could have done this every day!!) / Traverse City Cherry Festival + Airshow / kayaking / Crystal Mountain tobaggan run / jet ski's on Crystal Lake / sunsets at Crystal Lake / Interlochen (we saw Merchant of Venice - strongly recommend you get tickets to any event over there!) .
