Had a wonderful experience all around. Highly recommended for a secluded get away. Hot tub and pond are great. Very cozy, clean cabin. We would definitely come back.

Excellent private location

  • 5 of 5

Spent a week with my three dogs and had a great time. The pond is large and beautiful and the dogs had a great time swimming. The property is well maintained and very private. I spent the whole week without seeing another person, but it's a short drive to the local shopping. I really enjoyed listening to the wildlife at night from the screened porch (though bug spray is a must if you're going outside). Overall a great place and I can't wait to come back.

Beautiful, secluded getaway

  • 5 of 5

I've stayed at this cabin before and was so excited to make a return trip. The cabin is large and cozy and the surroundings are gorgeous.

This is a great place to leave it all behind you and relax. The view of the stars while relaxing in the hot tub can't be beat. No matter how long you stay, you'll want to stay longer.

I had an excellent time here. The property is beautiful and the cabin met my expectations in every way! I can't wait to return in the summer and make use of the pond! My trip was a truly relaxing experience, it was exactly what I was looking for.

Perfect mountain getaway close to NYC

  • 4 of 5

A group of friends traveled from NYC and Philly to celebrate a birthday, and we had a great time! The house was even more lovely than described, and the grounds were beautiful -- lots of space to walk around, enjoy the pond, hot tub, etc. I didn't realize the "sleeps 8" included two guests sleeping on the couches, which was fine, but I just wish I had known before getting there. Overall, great experience, with clear instructions on how to access the house, operate the hot tub, directions to closest markets, etc. Would love to come back with family or friends in the summer and really enjoy the pond!

Owner's Response: I apologize if our ad wasn't clear. We have 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds and 2 cots. Since queen beds typically accommodate two people, we generally can accommodate 8 without anyone sleeping on the couches.
