Very Pleasant Weekend

  • 3 of 5

Overall, this is a lovely cabin with a homey atmosphere, a fully stocked kitchen, and comfortable common areas. There was plenty of parking, lovely surroundings, and the location was readily accessible on well-paved roads. The issue that we encountered was that the maintenance folks had forgotten to remove several trash bags from the front porch on their last visit, and that those bags had been torn open by what we assume to be raccoons. However, after we cleaned up the trash, we had a lovely weekend, and management responded promptly and refunded our cleaning fee for the trouble. Overall, I would recommend it as a place to stay for a nice, quiet weekend near a lovely park.

Ladies Weekend

  • 5 of 5

A group of 10 of us got together for a ladies weekend in this cute and cozy cabin for the weekend. We didn't really leave the property all weekend but the property wasin good condition and as pictured. The property manager was quick to answer any questions we had during the entire rental process and were very nice to do business with. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cute place to stay in this area.

Our Summer Vacation

  • 4 of 5

We had an amazing visit. This house is outfitted with all that you need to keep your family comfortable and then some. The house is super homey, the kitchen is well stocked and enabled us to cook for a large group with no problem. The rooms follow the descriptions. We had a great visit and kept busy doing a ton of outdoor activities. The kids loved Ohiopyle there was a ton to do. We also headed to Idlewild which is an ideal amusement park for the newbies to the amusement world.

Skiing, igloo building, hot coco and more

  • 5 of 5

Our extended family including 8 adults and 8 grandkids went up for the week following xmas. We went skiing ,hikes on the snow-covered paths at seven springs, marshmallows in the giant fireplace, and watched the 8 grand kids sled down the driveway for endless hours. The driveway was just steep enough to give the kids a thrill, but still be able to climb back up again on their own (and there were tons of sleds at cabin)

Early Spring Ski Getaway

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect house for my girlfriend, me, and two other couples to get one last weekend of spring skiing in before the snow melted!

The house has the most welcoming log cabin interior and rustic feel, with all the modern amenities you'll need. There is a huge wood burning fireplace and the house is stocked with wood so you don't need to worry about bringing any with you. The kitchen has everything you'd need to cook any meal you could imagine, literally every cooking tool possible and an awesome gas range. We cooked some incredible meals the nights we weren't at the ski lodge drinking and eating wings. There is also a huge collection of DVD's and VHS's and great wifi connection if you want to watch netflix. It was the ideal set up for just relaxing by the fire after long days on the slopes.

The house is literally ski in and ski out and you can watch the skiers come down one of the Green slopes if you've decided to to spend a day inside by the fire. My girlfriend loved the experience and so did the other couples and you can't beat the rates for what you're getting.

We are all hoping to go back again at the end of the summer and in the fall to hit up Laurell Hill state park for the Bluegrass festival, and Ohiopyle and some of the other unbeatable outdoor recreation activities. I'd highly recommend this house to anyone. You'll feel right at home from the second you walk in.

Relaxing summer trip!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful trip to Hidden Valley. Kids loved the outdoor and indoor pools. We also spent a few days at the lake at Laurel Hill State Park located a few miles from the cabin. The cabin itself was great. Kids loved the pool table. We look forward to renting the cabin again - hopefully during ski season!
