About Michael & Brooke Ferreira

We have been going to San Pancho for about 15 years. We love the pueblo and the people who live in it. It is the type of place that continues to improve year after year.

Great place for small family

  • 5 of 5

Thanks for letting us stay at Casa Boguedita for the past month. We've stayed in quite a few different houses in Mexico over the years and yours is by far the nicest and best managed/maintained.

The design is perfect for a small family like ours (2 adults and a 2 year old). The quality of the construction and the use of high quality doors/windows/appliances really made staying there pleasant.

Kudos as well to Eduardo and the maintenance staff. We understand the difficulty of maintaining a house in that climate, so we don't get bent out of shape when minor stuff happens. The turnaround on the fixes for the minor issues was what really stood out.

Hope you and family enjoy your time there.

We'll likely be inquiring about renting from you again in the next few years.

The perfect seaside holiday home

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful place in San Pancho - we had such a great time. So clean, comfortable, spacious and well provided for. It has everything you need for a home-away-from-home type holiday in a peaceful, beautiful seaside holiday location. We had cocktails in the splash pool every evening and supper on the roof terrace. It is a perfect distance from the centre of town and beach to be quiet and still not require a long walk. We spent our days on the beach, swimming or surfing. Also, what a fantastic manager! He was so quick to reply to any queries the whole time we were there. When we left, I discovered that I had left my sarong behind and he made every effort to find it and return it to me via my daughter in Mexico City. I would wholeheartedly recommend your casa to anyone and everyone and would return here when next in San Pancho.

Excellent Value

  • 5 of 5

I was initially a little concerned as the price of the rental was relatively cheap. Once we arrived we were pleasantly surprised how nice the property was. It has 2 large bedrooms that was perfect for our family of 4. My 2 young kids loved the splash pool and the upstairs patio is amazing. The location is great as it is very quite at night but only a short walk to the restaurants and centre of town. The only regret was that we didn't stay longer.

Perfect little casa

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Casa la Bodeguita for almost 2 months. By the time we returned to the states, Casa la Bodeguita felt like our second home. The house was comfortable and fully stocked for all of our needs. Casa Bodeguita is located six easy blocks from the beach and easy walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, and stores. The property manager answered any concerns we had quickly and help made our stay very enjoyable. We plan on returning next year to enjoy Casa la Bodeguita and the wonderful town of San Pancho. Thank you Mike and Brooke

Great little house!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for a week in October, 2014. It was just what we needed, and very comfortable.

The house seems fairly new and is clean and well-maintained. We spent a lot of time outside, either on the terrace upstairs which was lovely in the mornings and at night, or near/in the pool. I didn't think the cool pool would get any use, but it was fantastic! I think we used it every day, sometimes on multiple occasions.

We liked the location as we had the chance to take the short walk through town to get to the beach. We had no issues with barking dogs. Yes, there are certainly dogs in this town, but we didn't hear any carrying on for any length of time. October - at least this October - was VERY hot, so we were very happy to have AC in the bedroom!

If we go back to this town, we would very likely stay here again!

Nice little house

  • 4 of 5

Looked forward to our stay in San Pancho even though we knew we would not be near the beach. The house with its two bedrooms (we only used one) and kitchen/sitting room plus upper palapa deck was more than adequate for our needs. A bit curious not to have a dining table inside. I guess most like to eat on the back patio or up on the deck. We ate on the coffee table a lot. Didn't use the cold water whirlpool except once. But it could be a good cooling off spot.

The only aggravation of staying here was the barking dogs. One night one stood outside our gate and barked for 45 minutes at 2 am. Didn't happen every night but about a third of the time. Not sure what the owners could do about this.

Would we stay here again if we come back to San Pancho? Maybe. But we would look for other options first.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your positive review of our house. Regarding your concerns - We chose to build a small house with large outside spaces. We use the house in the winter months when the weather is perfect most days and nights and we would prefer to be out doors. That is why the table for four and table for six is out doors. I'm sorry about the barking dogs. We have been in the house since this renter has left and we have not had the same experience. I do acknowledge that it has been know to happen and is a town wide problem. If this happens in the future I would recommend shutting all doors and windows and turning on the air conditioners. We strive for perfection and want all of our renters to be 100% satisfied. Sincerely, Michael & Brooke Ferreira
