Pa’ani means to play, sport, game, or amusement. 'Pa’ani at Princeville' is the perfect name for my well appointed vacation home on the 3rd hole & 4th tee of the Princeville Makai Lakes Course with its nearby trail to Anini Beach. Pa'ani is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo is in one of the best locations for enjoying all the North Shore of Kauai has to offer. Drive to 20 beaches within 5 - 20 minutes and walk the 10 minute trail down to beautiful quiet Anini beach. The living room and patio have views of the ocean, mountains and golf course. There is a separate loft area off the master bedroom with a queen size futon, so it can sleep up to 6. The pool is close by for cooling off after a hard day of play and there is a jetted tub in the master bath for relaxing your happy muscles. It has a very well appointed kitchen & has just been beautifully remodeled with all stainless steel appliances, travertine tile floors on the first floor and hardwood floors upstairs.
I love coming to Kauai to play & relax and my vacation home reflects that. I have beautiful photos of the island beaches, books on Kauai, and a guide with info & tips for golf, beach sport rentals & lots of fun things to do.
I have tried to make Pa'ani extremely comfortable for after that day on the course or the beach or exploring Kauai. You can relax in comfort, have a great meal, then read a book or watch the tube, together in the living room or do you own thing & the kids or your friends can do theirs. There is wireless access, a large flat screen T.V. in the living room & master bedroom and T.V.in the downstairs bedroom.
This North facing End Unit has three sided ventilation giving that late afternoon comforting trade wind breeze & ceiling fans in all the rooms. It has a clean open expansive feel. This is one of best locations in Princeville because it is so close to Anini & right next to the Westin for cocktails or dinner. It is on the golf course (even if you don't play you will appreciate the beautiful spacious green area & views) and it is a quick drive out of Princeville to get to all the other beaches.
We have made this the best priced condo of any other with these features. I am Allan Mizukami and I invite you to share my island get away. Call or email Suzanne, my 'ohana on Kauai for reservations or questions.

This was our 11th visit to Hawaii and this was the most disappointing place we have stayed. The exterior surroundings were lovely; the interior was quite disappointing. The drapes mismatched and shower curtain (?) was torn, the bedsheets spotted from prior use (we hope they were clean at the start of our stay except for the spots and wrinkles) but were of clearly a less than stellar quality; the pillows were the same! The downstairs bathtub was so dirty that it was not used. The spa required (by the instruction left in the unit) two tanks of hot water to fill (and thus the shower could not be used either at the same or really nearly the same time). The walls had peeling paint in places near open windows that because they were jealousy windows (and some the cranks did not work) water must have entered the unit; the towels were clean; there was no cutting board and it looked as though the furniture had come from a resale shop. The curtains such as they were, did not shut out the light and were hung from mismatched rods. Since the windows were not able to fully close on cool nights (low 60s) it was impossible to be comfortable in the house. There were four garbage cans in the dining room! Really, considering the "cleaning fee" that was charged,,, As to shopping, the recommended food store was over half an hour drive each way...not exactly around the corner. We stopped by the Westin next door and were helped by their staff to find some fine local fare - but none less than a fifteen minute drive. The beaches were some distance and called for getting the car out again. The unit's layout was fine and had we paid half the fee, it would have been worth it.
I brought my family of 4 to this condo for our very first visit to Kaua'i. The pictures don't do this condo justice. We loved our stay. I will skip a lot of what you'll read elsewhere about this condo and get to some details. 1. There is NO air conditioning. There are fans around the house to move air, vented windows also. But, it's 81 degrees, it rains frequently and the wind is always blowing. We were concerned upon first arrival....but, we slept just fine. None of the restaurants or places you go will have air conditioning either, so just get ready. You adjust really quickly. I highly recommend this condo.2. It's quiet. It's dark at night!! LOL ( that's a good thing) Beautiful surroundings. 3.It is a well kept condo. I loved it because there was no carpet anywhere. All marble like tile and hardwood upstairs. Washer and dryer come in very handy during the week. The inside pointers: At least one time you need to order pizza from the gas station down the street. It's really good...and you can feed 4 on $26. Internet users will appreciate the 55 mbps download and 5 mbps upload speed of the web service. Island internet is faster than my home in the lower 48! We never used the TV so I can't speak to that aspect. 4. Be ready to recycle. They have 3 bins for that and you need to keep your cardboard separate from the other trash. No biggie! It's the right thing to do especially on an island. 5. You should have already booked this condo. LOL Don't wait!! You will NOT be disappointed!!
This little condo was perfect for my husband and I, and we think our kids would have loved it, too. The ocean view and golf course are great! It's nice that it's right next to the Westin, too.
The best thing about this condo was that it was exactly as advertised, and we loved it. The location within the condo complex is ideal...an end unit facing the golf course and the ocean beyond. It was serene, cool and quiet--sometimes difficult to find in larger condo associations. The layout of the unit was ideal, with one bedroom secluded on the first floor and the second bedroom on a different level with it own sitting area, which can also be used to sleep children. The condo was equipped with everything you need-- we did not have to purchase anything. All in all, a delight.
We really enjoyed our stay in this clean and comfortable condo. It is nicely upgraded and has a great location on the golf course and within Princeville. Nice views out to the ocean from the family room, dining area and the lanai, too. Very peaceful condo community and a nice spacious condo made our trip relaxing and comfortable. The kitchen was very nicely stocked and had everything we needed, plus extras for the beach and a nice barbecue on the patio. I've stayed elsewhere in Kauai -- we've traveled there at least 5 times -- and this was probably my favorite place to stay. I would definitely return.
This is the place you were meant to be in Kauai! This lovely condo, end unit, has a spectacular view from the golf course to the ocean---and all you have to do is pour yourself a tropical drink and sit on the patio and sigh...The kitchen is fully stocked with the things you always forget to buy, also lots of utensils and lovely plates and glasses. The owner has all the items you need for the beach---chairs, coolers, hats and even sunblock! The dinning tables seats six and the furniture is classic and comfortable. Lots of room to spread out with the loft area an added bonus. The location is perfect; you can walk to the shops in Princeville--including a grocer, restaurants and shave ice; parking right outside the unit; a quiet area; a very short trip to Annini Beach and Hanalei. Be sure to catch the slack key performance on Friday and Sunday at the Community Center in Hanalei. The Westin is just across the road and was a great place to have our last meal before we left. Suzanne, the property manager was fantastic to work with and made our stay so easy. Great week and looking forward to our return.
