Why Phil Holzinger chose Pennsylvania

My uncle and aunt lived in this house for 58 years before selling it to me in 2010. I spent many happy times there with my cousins as a kid growing up.

Beautiful private place

  • 5 of 5

My sisters, mother and I had a wonderful time! We booked the place for a girls' weekend with our children, and the place was perfect. My 9 year-old niece loved the bunkbeds, and there was plenty of room for all of us plus 2 babies. The area was beautiful and covered in snow, we would definitely consider coming back when the weather is nicer to fully enjoy all of the outdoor activities.

Charming, peaceful, comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic girls' weekend at Phil's lovely retreat. He was wonderful about information, and everything went as planned. We spent a lot of time relaxing by the fire, took several walks around the property, and spent some time in downtown Lancaster. The "school house" was a really interesting place to stay, spacious, cozy, and well taken care of. We are hoping to take another weekend here in the future, although with all of our daughters, for a different kind of girls' weekend. Perfect for our adult getaway, but a really great place for families too!

We came for a huge archery event. It was nice to come back to this beautiful home and it's history tucked away in a quiet spot. Thank you Phil for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
