This house is all about luxury and peacefulness. You are in your private garden of Eden. If you are looking for a villa with total privacy surrounded by a tropical garden, this is the place for you. Perfect Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 6 adults stayed over the holidays and through New Years. The home is beautiful and inviting. The pictures do a good job of showing how beautiful the home is.There is enough space for everyone to get away from each other if they want but also come together for meals and just hanging out. The house had everything we needed from beach chairs and towels, cooler, barbeque, DVD player and a well stocked kitchen.

We ate all dinners outside as it was so pleasant and would often play games after dinner, spending very little time inside.

The master bedroom and bath are large. The upstairs bedrooms are average size and have a lot of storage space. We rarely had to use air conditioning.

The kitchen is large and is a fun place cook. There were many times that all six of us were doing some thing to prepare a meal. Our favorite meals when going out were at Barefoot and Yamenga.

We felt very safe and liked being a little distance from the beach scene. We had a car and went to different beaches each day.

We are runners and it was about.8 miles to the beach road which was pleasant to run on.

Francois was very responsive if we needed him for anything. We highly recommend this property.

Perfect Vacation Home!

  • 5 of 5

My family of 5 stayed in this amazing Aruba vacation rental for 10 days. We can't wait until we return. The owners, the Phillipsen's, created a beautiful and peaceful getaway. The home is very large, and is outfitted with marble floors, high-end appliances, glamour bathrooms, and an oversized washer and dryer. It's bright, open and expansive. The house was immaculate when we arrived, and the property is obviously very well-maintained. The property manager, Francois, lives nearby and provides constant maintenance as necessary.

The house came equipped with more supplies than we expected. Everything from soaps and detergents, to high quality bath and pool towels, and beach chairs are supplied.

The house is extremely secure. It is equipped with safes, an alarm system, electric blinds, and a front gate. Within the first day they were very easy to use. The area feels very safe. But it gave us invaluable peace of mind knowing the Phillipsen's home, and our valuables were protected while we were out having fun at the beach. Never a worry about the house.

Francois, the property manager, is a gem. He quickly responded to our emails from the U.S., and phone calls in Aruba. He answered all of our questions, and put us at ease.

For anyone concerned about the utility cost, it netted to about $35 a day. This isn't much considering the rent is very fairly priced. To be safe, we relied on the trade winds to keep the house a comfortable temperature when we were home during the day, and only used the a/c in our bedrooms while we slept. We used water liberally (though not waste fully).

We spent most of our "home time" reading, eating, swimming, and listening to music out back. The covered areas are never hot, even during a 90 degree day. Our favorite time to hang out and talk with each other was in the evening. I can't begin to describe how beautiful it was outside at night with the trade winds blowing.

,

I highly recommend renting a car. The house is short drive 5 minute drive to beautiful beaches and plenty of restaurants. The largest grocery store in Aruba, Superfood, is only 15 minutes away. There are several other grocery stores, but Superfood had

everything we needed.

A huge thanks to Francois for his help, and to the Phillipsen's for sharing their lovely home.

We had an awesome time!

  • 5 of 5

We had an absolute blast in Aruba. We arrived to find the house just as it was described - very clean, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful pool and convenient to grocery stores and Eagle/Palm Beach as well as the northern beaches i.e. Malmok and Arashi. There were 5 adults on the trip who stayed for a week and the house was large enough that we didn't feel like we were in each other's way. Francois was extremely helpful from the time we booked the reservation and throughout our stay. He was only a phone call away if we needed him while we were there.

You will need to rent a car if you plan to do any sightseeing. We visited several of the major attractions - from the California lighthouse in the north to the Carubbean festival down in San Nicholas. The Alto Vista Chapel and natural bridge are both a must-see!! And if you're up for casual dining by the ocean, you must visit the Zeerover Restaurant in San Nicholas! Mmm mmm good!

Although we could have used the A/C more often, we chose to rely on the constant breeze coming through the windows/patio doors. There are stray dogs and other animals in the area, but not too many to be a nuisance.

We would definitely recommend this location to visitors to Aruba. Francois is a great property manager. We wish we could have stayed longer. It was our little piece of heaven!

Amazingly FABULOUS home!!!!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had our first visit to Aruba. And this ooh so wonderfully, tidy, clean, fully equiped and tranquil home was our home for 10 days. Francois was there whenever needed............ THANK YOU FRANCOIS! We had a blast of a time here!!! Kids hanging around the pool for most of the day and we relaxed on the patio. Once you've driven the streets, you'll find everything within reach. Arachi was our beach to be. A car is recommended as Aruba has so much to offer. We enjoyed all the malls, dining at Blossoms. We went to Palm Island and it sure is something worth doing whenever in Aruba. Baby beach was also very nice, calm waters....... Use enough sunblock!! Super Food was our favorite place to get all the needed groceries....don't forget to get your Tourist Bonus Card before you shop at this well stocked supermarket. And it's just minutes away(by car) from Rooi Santo.... One last favor: please keep the house as when you walked in. Aruba, Francois and Rooi Santo you will definitely be seeing us again.....

One word- Amazing!!

  • 5 of 5

The place is the real deal. Francoise was great, and very helpful for anything we needed. We felt like royalty for a week. I recommend this villa to anybody who wants to stay at a beautiful well kept home. Very spacious, close to everything on the island. Nicely furnished with a kitchen to die for. Close to all the beaches although a car is recommended. Arashi was our beach of choice as we have small children and the tide was always low there. This villa in rooi santo is going to be our vacation spot of choice from now till the end of time. I am even hesitant to write this review as I dont want to share it with anybody, so please take good care of this gem.

BEST Villa on The Happy Island!!!!! :-)

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent two wonderful weeks staying in this villa and words just will not do it justice. It is a gorgeous home, beautifully designed and furnished, equipped with the best of everything and all of the comforts of home. We felt like rock stars in this villa so pampered and spoiled....exactly what vacation should be about!

From the very beginning Francois was a great help to us. Handling every little detail, so responsive and helpful. He is there whenever you need him, goes above and beyond to help you settle in and makes sure you have everything you need and then some! We not only enjoyed our vacation we feel we made a new friend!

The home is situated in such a great location close to all of the hot spots but just far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. If you like nature the trails to the desert are literally at your doorstep. The beauty that surrounds you is utterly breathtaking and can't even be captured in pics.

If you like dogs the real bonus to this home is that Francois will share his two doggies Kika and Little Boss with you for walks and visits! This made the vacation complete!!!

Aruba is truly a great place, so much to see and do we can't wait to come back and after staying at this villa none compare it is without a doubt the best vacation rental around!!!!

Thanks Francois for a lovely time we will see you again soon!!!!
