Beautiful lake family vacation!!!!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you, Mark and Maria for sharing your beautiful Lake Stiles home. The house was so spacious. Plenty big enough for my husband and I, my daughter and son-in-law and their baby, my son and daughter-in-law and their two young sons. There were so many places to go inside whether on the screened in porch, the outside deck with the amazing wrap around couch, the covered deck, the formal living room, the beautiful dining room table ... I could go on and on. One of the things that was so nice was no matter where you walked inside there was a view of the lake. The bedrooms were a very good size and the master had a view to die for. It was great waking up to that view every morning. There was so much to do right on the property we never left! We played basketball, Frisbee and many other outdoor sports. It was great that there were so many outdoor toys right on the premises. What was also nice with having 3 small children was the the beach so the kids could play in the sand and right at the waterfront. The highlight for the adults was the AMAZING fishing, paddleboat rides, kayaks, canoe and row boat rides. Having those all available make a huge difference!! Another favorite activity was our nightly campfires. The only thing that was a surprise but to no fault of the owners is the water level is very low right now. It did not stop us from doing anything but if you had a jet ski or motor boat it would be hard to use until the water level returns to normal. We made many wonderful memories all together as a family which was exactly what we wanted. Even our two dogs even had a blast! We hope to rent again in the future. Thank you again, Nancy

Very relaxing and wonderful location

  • 4 of 5

The Lakehouse is a great location for vacation, family gathering or other weekend/weeklong getaway. The home is lakehouse with inside and outside porches. Kitchen is well appointed with all the basics that you need. The rooms vary from King to queen to full to single beds with a basement. Read the house book on how to find a few light switches. All the water items like kayak, canoe and paddle boat work well and the basketball court with small baseball diamond is great. The fire pit is wonderful at night. About 20min to Worcester.

Awesome lake home!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this beautiful lake home for my son's graduation this past weekend. For anyone wanting a peaceful, relaxing vacation, this is the home. The home is very warm and inviting when you enter, you can feel the love that was put into every detail. The view from the living room and kitchen is breathtaking, watching the sunrise and sunsets was amazing. We were also able to enjoy warm weather and sit outside by the lake. I would recommend this home highly. Mark and Maria were a pleasure to deal with, always responding right away.

Great house beautiful lake views

  • 4 of 5

The house is really nice. Came out with mom and sisters for annual trip to paint Santas at Vallincourt. Wish we could have enjoyed the outdoors a bit more but a still a little chilly in April for Texas girls. We loved all the various sitting spots which gave plenty of room to all congregate in one area or spread out if you wanted to sit and read. The drive out from Worcester was longer than I thought with the last bit seeming more like a private drive than a road but well worth it once you arrived. Everything you need is provided and they were really easy to work with. We have stayed in various hotels in the surrounding area and I highly recommend this house as a better option. Will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful house for the holidays

  • 5 of 5

We rented the house this Christmas with the intention of hosting Christmas dinner for family nearby. Not only is the property itself beautiful, but it is very well stocked for hosting and cooking for a large party (we had 14 people and there were dishes for more). The owners went above and beyond in decorating the house for us for Christmas. They did a wonderful job and it was tastefully done. I don't decorate half so well at home! We all fit easily for dinner in the main room using the extra table from the sunroom.

I had rented the lake house with the intention (hopes) of everyone being able to go skating, but it was a very warm Christmas this year. The weather did not deter us, we just had to change plans. We played whiffle ball many times, including a big family game on Christmas day, went fishing, and explored the area. We had fires outside in the pit near the beach on both the solstice and Christmas, which greatly pleased the children. On the lake we saw ducks, geese, swans and even the local eagle.

Inside there were plenty of books, games and puzzles to entertain us all for the week. The furniture was lovely, comfortable and functional.

Our local family is hoping we will rent this house again come summer so we can all enjoy the benefits of the lake and the kids are already asking to come back again. We will definitely look to this house again for our next vacation in the area!
