Nature, Peace, Quiet, Privacy ... Check, Check, Check!!!

This little guest cottage is mountain style dressed up with modern day decor and features a convenient little kitchenette, complete with dishes, cooking utensils and a small fridge. The cozy living area is complete with a king bed, a wardrobe housing a flat screen TV, a rocking chair and lamps on end tables. The bath area has a unique yesteryear claw foot tub, just like the good old days (not to worry, it has a long shower handle for those longing for a shower not from yesteryear!). The loft area has a sitting area over looking the creek, a double bed and a chest of drawers. This cabin is comfy and cozy for two, but welcomes up to 2 adults and 2 kids. And the kids will truly be one with nature (as will you) with acres to explore, frogs to find, birds to watch, stones to skip ... the list goes on and on.

The front porch is covered so you can sit on the swing and listen to the birds singing and expect a lot of flying wildlife on property! The deck is complete with a newly installed hot tub for you to take in the stars while relaxing alongside your 800 feet of Little River frontage access! There is also an outdoor table and chairs to dine out.

The property has so much to offer. You can take a walk around the property (11 full accessible acres) or hike through the surrounding woods and beautiful seasonal flowers can be found all over the property for your enjoyment. Picnic spots are also available throughout the property to rest your legs or simply sit to enjoy your own slice of mountain life. You might see some wildlife, as there is an abundance and the area land is not as developed as other towns. There are also two ponds on your property! Tube down the lazy creek or stroll through the vegetable garden, relax, sit back, take a load off, you have earned it. You deserve it!

You are sure to find something that will be a memory to take home. "Calming, stress relieving, and peaceful." These are the words we hear time and time again to describe this beautiful well-maintained, gated and secluded property.

You are invited to visit our little piece of heaven, and feel free to bring your pet (with approval) - you'll be glad you did!!!

In a word...perfection.

  • 5 of 5

My partner, 5 year old son and I stayed here for a quick getaway. It was so amazing, cozy, and perfect. My son loved finding all the swings around the property...especially the one going out over the water. We also enjoyed the artistic trails with beautiful views. We played rock chess and enjoyed the big bath tub. Enough room for us and a very good feel to the whole place. So grateful we had a chance to be there.

The cabin was delightful and very clean. Beautiful property and comfortable bed. Everything we needed was provided in the cabin. The jacuzzi was wonderful as well. The only thing I would add is a can of air freshener since the bathroom is open concept. Perfect cabin getaway.

Enjoyed our stay

  • 4 of 5

Overall lovely. Hot tub and clawfoot tub were marvelous. We thought the woodstove inside was wood-burning and brought a bunch of firewood, haha. Pleasantly surprised that it's electric; so easy to quickly turn on and off. 4 stars instead of 5 because of scant kitchen supplies for cooking. We prepared our own meals and we're missing some staples that I consider pretty essential in a kitchen (scraping spatula, cutting board, and chopping knives, to name a few) and I'm glad I brought my own herbs and spices because the cabin only has salt and pepper. Just want to let others be aware so they can pack accordingly. Again, our stay was much enjoyed.

Owner's Response: Maria, sadly we are not allowed to leave spices at the cabin due to potential contamination. We try to tell our guests to just bring "spices and food" and they will be all set with the grill, stove-top, microwave and toaster oven. We have addressed your kitchen requests, the spatula was "missplaced" and getting everything else taken care of as we pride ourselves in offering a turn-key rental that is well-appointed to everyone's standards. Thanks again.
