Wolfeboro Cabin Rental Photos and Description

3 bedrooms, sleeping porch- maximum guests 4

This historic lakefront cabin is perfectly suited for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, fishing and boating. You can walk into the quaint town of Wolfeboro where you'll find many restaurants, shops, and cultural activities. Also close by are fabulous hiking trails, bicycle paths, tennis and golf. The dock and screened porch offer the perfect spot to enjoy the day's activities at the lake and at day's end you can relax until the sun goes down. At night, you can watch the moon shimmering on the lake and listen to the loons calling... This cabin is in no way luxurious, but if you are looking for a summer lake experience that brings you back to a simpler, more peaceful time... this cabin can promise you that. This setting is so special - the scent of the pine trees, the sparkling blue lake, and yes even the sound of the screen door slamming. Please know that the floors are doors are uneven, and the furnishings are very basic. The experience is geared toward renters who are'outdoorsy'. Because we are located in the woods and on the lake, renters should know may see deer, fox and other wildlife outside. We have a cleaning person come between each and every renter but even still you may encounter an occasional spider or bugs indoors. We think of the camp as a nice step up from camping but want to attract the renters who are the right fit for our cabin.

We had a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing your cottage! The sunfish, kayaks and row boat were the highpoint of the week! We love the million dollar view and made so many family memories! The boys had such a great time and we wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you so so much!!

This private lakefront home embraces you the minute you get out of the car. It is a gem!

the "L" shaped screen porch allow you to view the lake, listen to birds and hear the leaves move with the wind. Every room has character and a history . Well equipped in the kitchen, comfortable furnishings. Treat yourself to this magnificent place. Owner is wonderful to work with. I return year after year.

This lakefront cottage has been in our family for over 100 years. The accommodations are in no way luxurious. They are very rustic and basic. Because of the age of the cottage we are limiting the number of guests to 4 or less. There is parking for three cars but please note that the road to the cottage is quite steep. Front wheel or four wheel drive cars are recommended. If you don't have front wheel drive, you can park further away and walk down to the cottage. Dogs are most welcome! Because of how old this cottage is and the proximity to the water, we feel strongly that families with children under the age of 8 should not rent this cottage. We must ask that no one smoke in the cottage or on the property around the cottage. Please be aware that the bathroom and kitchen fixtures are in good working order but are very old. The shower is not located in the bathroom but off the kitchen. The use of 3 kayaks and a canoe is included with this rental.
