This has been a great home base for our first trip to AMI. It is also our first vacation since having our son (now almost two). Your house accommodated us perfectly! It was great to have the kitchen to prepare meals, the pool to relax in while our son napped, and the screened-in porch to hang out on in the evenings. It is so quiet at night you can hear the surf 2 blocks away. We spent most of our week relaxing on the island and checking out the various beaches. We only ventured of the island once – to go to Mote Aquarium (just OK). As for the beaches, Manatee and Coquina Beaches were big hits because of the playgrounds. The beach was wonderful for convenience; we could just stroll down on the spur of the moment to catch the sunset. Bean Point was gorgeous – fewer people and breathe taking sunsets. Around the island – don’t miss the dolphins! Ginny & Janes E’s has a delicious and reasonably priced breakfast – plus their shop is fun to browse! We also loved The Feast Restaurant for dinner (not much atmosphere, but amazing food). Hope everyone else has as wonderful a time here as we did! Thanks

We stayed in Blue Palm during one week in April and had a great time. We have been to other houses in the past and decided for this one due to location and size. Our kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the closeby beach. The house is not new but kept in good condition. The pool area would need some renovation (rosty sunlounger, pool stairs concrete breaking off) and the carpets in the bedrooms seem dusty. Some of the shutters are rosty (kitchen) and others not working well. But we slept well in the beds and liked the open feeling with the high ceiling.
All in all a nice place to go to.
We loved this house. Although there are only two bedrooms, the high ceilings and great outdoor dek made the house feel very spacious. The pool was fantastic and it was difficult to get our 10 year out of it. The beach is 280 steps away ( we counted!) so we were so close that you could pop back to the house if you forget anything. We loved AMI and this house and will definitly return . Ruth, Dublin, Irekand
Blue Palm was perfect for our girls weekend getaway! All of us were very comfortable all weekend, as this house is very spacious and accommodating. We were even able to enjoy the heated pool regardless of it being the first weekend in December. We all live in the area year round so we didn't take advantage of the beach too much, so we just stayed at the house all weekend and cooked our own meals. It was very nice to have everything at our fingertips so we didn't have to leave at all! We will definitely look into the Blue Palm for our next getaway!
This combination of large screened porch, large pool, proximity to the beach, and reasonable price is tough to match. Would highly recommend. Our family with two small children loved our two week stay. Only regret is we didn't rebook for the following year right away.
ps - property management company is great to work with also.
We had a great time at Blue Palm! Loved the spaciousness and open feeling and spent a lot of time on the porch and in the pool!
The house has a nice feel, and it's so close to the beach
Thanks so much!

This family and dog friendly vacation rental is located on Florida's Anna Maria Island, a quaint barrier island nestled in the Gulf of Mexico south of Tampa Bay. Comprised of three cities—Anna Maria on the north end, Holmes Beach in the middle and Bradenton Beach to the south—AMI is one of the only places where the 'old Florida' charm still exists. The Island has every convenience needed, including multiple award winning restaurants, including Beach Bistro, Sandbar Restaurant, Sign of the Mermaid, and Waterfront Restaurant. There is also plenty of shopping available along historic Pine Avenue in Anna Maria and Bradenton Beach's historic Bridge Street. With the beach and the Bay just minutes away from your front door, there is plenty to do in the water. Kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, jet skiing, and parasailing are the more popular activities. With the Island only seven miles long, there is no need to drive when almost everything is within walking or biking distance. Plus, there is a free trolley service that runs the length of the Island every day. AMI truly has something for everyone, and everyone who visits falls in love with it. We are sure you will too! So, reserve your vacation home today . . . seven miles of pristine white beaches and beautiful sunsets await you!
