Joe purchased this house in 2009
We both fell in love to the gathering place by the fireplace the moment we walked through the door. We have made a lot of improvements on the property since we purchased it in 2009. We enjoy the mix of water play and nature at our end of Wiggins Lake.
We looked at a lot of properties on many different lakes before purchasing this home. Most lake properties we explored had very small yards and/or they were too steep. Our property is big enough and has a gentle slope to the waters edge and is great for play on land as well as in the water. We also enjoy all the twist and turns of our lake. There are several different coves to explore. Also it is so nice to have a bug free area to enjoy at night. Sitting in the screen room and listening to crickets and frogs is so relaxing. A great break from the city life!

The home is very comfortable. Large enough for large family. The boats are nice. The AC was pleasent surprise since it is not listed. Wi-fi was also nice to have.
We recently stayed at this gorgeous beach house. I call it a beach house because of the amazing beach that the children enjoyed daily! There were also 2 paddle-boats & a canoe that kept the older kids entertained. The house is at the end of one of the lakes "fingers" which was perfect for the kids to take the paddle boat out by themselves w/out really leaving our eyesight! The house is quaint & provided the space we needed. We also rented the cabin (which the older kids LOVED) & was also able to rent the house next door (we had a large group). The covered patio & swing was used daily. Everything was fantastic. We had a GREAT time at this house & would come back. More than what was expected was provided (stocked cupboards, towels, beach toys, etc...)
Fabulous.......this is the second time we have rented this home........and it was just as enjoyable as the first time!!!! Peaceful, relaxing, beautiful scenery.......makes for a memorable vacation :-))). A ton of room for everyone. We also rented the pine cottage for the kids to "pretend" they were camping and they LOVED it! Can't wait till next time!!!!
We recently rented this house on Wiggins Lake. We had a great time and the house was beautiful and very accommodating and spacious for the 10 of us. We rented the Pine cottage for extra sleeping space and we rented the pontoon that we all loved. Hanging out at the sandbar was great on those hot days. We definitely plan on returning for another weeks vacation. Thank you Joe for everything. See you next year!!!
We had a family reunion over the 4th of July holiday at the house on Wiggins lake. The whole family enjoyed everything the home, the pontoon boat and lake had to offer. the house was very clean and well equipped. My grandson and granddaughter loved playing in the sandy beach and spent may hours playing down there. The pontoon boat worked great and everyone enjoyed taking tours of the beautiful lake. The fishing has great. The mattresses on the beds are very good and I didn't hear a single complaint from my wife with her sore back. We brought my wife's 80 year old mother and she was limited mobility but she just loved the lower level where she spent most of her time. The lower level is very comfortable and we took most f our meals there. I would recommend this house to anyone.
We recently rented the Wiggins Lake home from Joe. There was plenty of room for three kids, Mother-in-law, my wife and I, and our two dogs. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and pontoon, relaxing on the beach, in the water, around the campfire and in the home. We definitely suggest renting the pontoon along with the home, we had a blast driving around the lake, hanging out at the sandbar, and meeting the friendly neighbors. Thanks, Joe!
