Cheni Yerushalmi purchased this cabin in 2007
Simply put its the best investment I ever made, because its the place that brings people together, click on pictures to view events, festivals and family gateways held over the years.
Thorough and happy customer service. Beautiful, well-maintained location with ample amenities. A great place to relax as well as the freedom to move and play in nature.
I dream of that tipi and so enjoyed the warmth of the fireplace and firepit
This luxury home is far more than a cabin! It has the rustic charm of a ski lodge but includes top-of-the-line furnishing and appliances. The rooms are spacious, clean and well laid out. We fit several families comfortably. There is a game room downstairs, a huge stone fireplace and an outdoor hot tub.
I could not have designed a more perfect retreat for our Killington ski vacation. My family will be back!
Everything was as described, and even exceeded our expectations. Super clean and well maintained, plenty of room in the kitchen to prepare a masterful meal. We would love to return sometime in the near future. The teepee is truly a unique experience. Thank you Cheni!
Our group of 14 recently gathered here for two evenings for a work-related retreat. The layout is perfect for this with the large open living/dining/kitchen layout and plenty of beds and large bean bags.
We were disappointed by a couple of things including the grill not working and no games for the hyped game room. We did find the ping pong table in a closet but no paddles (or air hockey). Fortunately, we were able to salvage the meals we had planned for the grill by using the large griddle in the kitchen.
Overall, we were happy and would consider using this rental again provided that some things were guaranteed.
A group of school friends travel to different mountains every year for a ski trip. We couldn't have found a better house for our trip this year. Plenty of space, appliances in good working conditions and much more. Not a bad ride to Killington either and useful accomodations near by. Recommended for large groups or families. Would love to go here in the summer too. Gonna be hard to find a better house next year!
Had a great time with a large group. Everyone loved the house and we were all very comfortable.
While staying a The Cabin take a walk over to the Long Trail Brewery a short five minute walk from the Cabin. This famous micro brewery offers a brewery tour, sample the award winning family of fine ales and relax in the laid back ambiance of the pub.
Vermont is home to some of the most scenic golf courses in the country. Check out one of the 17 public golf courses in the area or take a short drive to one of the many famous attractions including the town of Woodstock. Made famous by the Rockefeller family this town is widely regarded by many as the prettiest small town in America.
The Cabin is surrounded by hundreds of lakes but make sure you take a drive and visit Lake Rescue a short seven minutes away. The tenth deepest and 23rd largest lake in Vermont is a great destination during the hot summer months.
Make sure not to forget to visit Simon Pearce Restaurant, Quechee, VT (15 miles from the cabin). Overlooking the falls of Vermont’s Ottauquechee River and its covered bridge, is a food destination worth its out-of-the-way address. The exposed-brick and blond wood terrace dining room—hanging over the falls—is open and airy in the summer and fully glass-encased during winter.
