Guestbook comments from the manager

Karoline went to great lengths to welcome me and make sure that I had everything needed to settle in comfortably. The studio itself is truly a wonderful space in an amazing (building and) neighborhood. It was very clean and well maintained. The furnishings were an thoughtful selection of fine New England pieces. The appliances worked well and the temperature was perfect. Karoline kept in touch throughout my stay. I will definitely return as soon as the opportunity arises. Many thanks to Karoline and Todd.

Beautiful studio in a fabulous area

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed in this studio for 5 nights while visiting Boston and we absolutely loved it. It was very spacious with plenty of room to lay out our luggage and even had space for my husband to work, since he can never fully leave the office when he is out of town.

It's located on a lovely tree lined street filled with beautiful brick town homes. The neighborhood is filled with working professionals with many good restaurants near by. Make sure to head over to Render Coffee house for your morning brew. (it's on the way to the T) The T is just a short 7 minute walk away for the yellow line (Mass Ave) or 10 minutes for the green line (Symphony). We really felt like Boston residents for the time we were here.

As far as the apartment goes, it was absolutely spotless. It had everything you needed for either a couple days or even longer. We didn't cook, but it had a fully stocked modern kitchen with a full sized stove, oven and dishwasher. The washing machine is just outside the door to the apartment and it takes coins so just be prepared. The bed was very comfortable and had nice linens and the towels were very fluffy. We were there in September so it was still hot, but the apartment had a portable AC that kept the room at a great temperature. And, the apartment is on the basement floor so it's naturally cooler down there. We also loved the brick wall and the old cast iron grate above the fireplace. We also had a door leading out to the beautiful patio which is a nice place for a morning coffee.

Karoline, the owner was wonderful. I had a problem when booking and she got right on the phone and helped me sort it out. She had a great little book of instructions on how to get in to the apartment but also filled with very useful transportation information and good local restaurants. She made it clear that she was there to help us if needed, but if not, then she would leave us to be undisturbed. Before we left on our trip I had a few logistical questions and she responded right away. It was comforting to know the owner was there if we needed her.

I would absolutely stay here again. It was my little piece of Boston heaven. To be able to stay in a neighborhood like this without paying an arm and a leg was really great.

Excellent stay

  • 5 of 5

Really beautiful studio with everything you could need. Very clean, neat and tidy. Todd was very kind to me on check in as I was quite ill and sent me to a good medical clinic. Short walk to the subway and grocery stores and a most superb cafe up the street called Flour. All-in-all a great stay. Boston is awesome.

Perfect house for a weekend in Boston!

The house was just what we needed. Super central to most things, we actually walked to Fenway and shopping on Newbury. Definitely a clean and safe area, wouldn't mind staying again!
