The house was great!! Gina has thought of every thing you would need to make the stay go smoothly. Young and old enjoyed visiting with the cows and seeing the farm activity. The road to get to the house is in need of some work, but that didn't influence our ability to appreciate this lovely farmhouse. Plan to stay again next time we are in the area.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review, I do apologize for the road, they put drainage pipes in because they are blacktopping the road. Next time it should be smooth sailing. Thanks again for staying, we hope to see you back.
The kids loved it!
The house was great! Plenty of room for everyone to stretch out. We enjoyed playing in the back yard and visiting with the cows. We all had a great time! Thanks
Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review. We hope to see you back. Gina
Great place to stay with everything we needed!
We really enjoyed our stay. We only really had one slight issue that we just let be. It was a little hot upstairs in the house compared to downstairs. We did not bother the owners with this as we were able to sleep. Even with it being hot, we still felt it was a 5 star for everything else it offered. The house worked perfectly for our family. And the house had more items in it than we expected! Young and old enjoyed the farm. We even had the pleasure of seeing two new born calves be moved from the field next to the house to across the street from the house. Fire pit and wood for it were great and we were very impressed with the water pressure in the house. Plenty of space for all of us. We had a family of 7, a family of 2, a middle aged couple, and a single senior and everyone enjoyed all. We would consider stay here again. On a side note, anyone with toddlers and/or sleep walkers may want to consider bringing a baby gate due to steep stairs. We thought we might have an issue with this after we arrived but it turned out our toddler didn't get up at all unannounced.
Yes it is hard to regulate the air sometimes, if you close some of the vents downstairs in the evening it helps cool the upstairs. I hope you return again. I am glad you had a great vacation.
Second stay, as awesome as the first one!
This was our second time staying there, and the house is perfect. Thanks Gina. Until next time!

Multi-State Annual Family Reunion
This is the second year we have rented the Wilmes Farmhouse. It is an amazing country farmhouse. It is secluded down a dirt road with a big front porch and plenty of room for the kids to run and play. The grand children love to go see the cows which are right across the road from the house. My mom loves to get up in the morning and witness the daily farm routine. The bedrooms are big. The house is clean and perfect for us. We go to Holiday World every year and this is close and a convient location. Gina has been more than helpful and answers quickly. It is really relaxing and we look forward to this every year.
Lori, I am so glad you enjoyed the house. We hope to see you back again. Thanks for taking such good care of the house. Thanks again, Gina
