Yang is a local boy originally from Hong Kong whose love for water sports brought him to Hawaii in 1990 for sailing and surfing. He has remained ever since.
The Owner purchased this house in 2004
I’m spent much of my life in big cities and became used to having something to do, always. Yet I longed for a slower paced, small-town life and its positive attributes.
Enjoying unhurried conversations with people around town, catching your own fish and BBQing it on the deck for dinner, buying fresh organic produce at local farmers markets, soaking in the gorgeous landscapes, rainbows and sunsets.
The wonderful thing about this bucolic location is that you won’t be compromising your need to stay active. The North Shore’s nature spots, sports attractions, restaurants, markets and galleries are all nearby.
Balance this with being able to enjoy all the countryside lifestyle has to offer while nestled away on a beachfront lane seconds from pristine beaches...and you have recipe for a truly memorable getaway.

Aside from enjoying the benefits of a brand new, luxurious, fully furnished rental unit in a prime location, it’s actually the “basic,” everyday little things that make this place so special…like falling asleep to the sound of crickets singing and waves crashing, waking up to birds chirping and the sun shining (there are a lot of windows and sliding doors in this unit which makes it bright if desired), looking at the bright green coconut palms and Hawaiian foliage almost makes you feel like you’re inside a giant tree house, walking next door to the beach and watching whales play just 300 meters from shore (which is an amazing sight!), eating dinner on the deck while star gazing, and being just minutes (walk) away from the world’s best surfing and scuba diving spots…are just a few of the very unique benefits of our “coconut palm haven.”
Close to a local beach. Excellent accommodation's. Definitely returning
Beautiful spot just 75yds from Ke Iki beach. One of my Oahu favorites.
Awesome location. Food Land and food carts is less than 10 min walk on bike path. Walk to Pipeline, or bike up to Sunset. 10 min drive to beginner surf spots like Ali'i and Puena Point in Haleiwa. There are at least 4 bikes, several body boards, beach chairs, a washer-dryer, outdoor shower. Unit has a dedicated, covered- parking space behind a locked gate. Kitchen well equipped, nice big refrigerator. Key code door so you don't have to worry about loosing house keys.
I'm not sure why several reviews complained about heat...I stayed here in hot week last May and now moderate week in Feb and found very comfortable both times. There are ceiling fans in each room and a covered deck for eating outside. The tradewinds blow through the house easily- just close the curtains when you are gone during the day.
We had four people and this place was perfect. Good size, Has two queen beds, a fold out and someone can sleep on the couch (not super comfy but do-able).
The location was perfect! We can ride bikes to the store and walk to the beach.
No beach towels. You can do laundry which was useful. Used the bikes wich were great. Only comment would be that the pictures make the place look a little more "glamorous" then it is. But again was perfect for us and we didn't mind. There are three flights of stairs for those who don't want a little work out coming too and from the house. But again we are young and active so didn't mind.
Thanks for a great stay!
Great house and owner Yang, close to the beach and everything you need to enjoy the North Shore.
Beautiful! The property was private, clean and nice. Very spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for us. Next to a beautiful beach and walking distance to the food trucks at Sharks Cove. Also the nearby grocery store Foodland was right there too. The only thing, I would've thought it would be air conditioned. It was only the use of electrical fans that provided any air movement at all. This was not enough. With the humidity and four flights of stairs up, you are in a complete sweat most of the time you are staying there. Otherwise the place had all of the details and amenities you could ever need or want. The landlord was very nice and accomidating. I admit that I never mentioned to him anything concerning the heat. If I had, he probly would've helped out. I would definitely stay there again and be very happy.
The house was pretty much as described. I paid extra for the AC and I'm glad I did. It would have been intolerable without. When it's hot it's hot, trade winds or not. My only issue was when I mentioned a roach concern to Yang, his reply was its Hawaii. I've been to other Islands and haven't experienced this issue. You might see a dead one, never a daily/nightly experience. Obviously no pest control contract☹️
